Buff Frame
v175 is an ALPHA update - needs testing!
What is it?
This plugin creates four movable, resizeable frames that contain the players buffs and de-buffs. One frame stores long term buffs, the second medium term, the third short term and the last debuffs. Buffs will move from frame to frame based on the amount of time left. Each frame can hold a maximum of 10 de/buffs. This plugin also hides the default Character Portrait. How to use?Unzip to the Plugins folder.
You will also need Turbines standard code and DeusDictums Dragbar How to startI recommend using Shady's manager. Otherwise it is /plugins load Bufframe SnappingWhen the UI is unlocked the dragbar can be used to move bars around, holding down shift will snap the bars to to each other. Ignoring...To ignore a particular buff/debuff right click on it and select ignore. Changed your mind? Right click on another buff and find it's name in the context menu. Click to show it again. OptionsUnlocking the user interface will show a white box over each frame. Clicking and dragging inside the box resizes the buff frame. Clicking on the Rotate icon will change the orientation and fill direction of the frame.
Holding down alt whilst resizing a frame will alter the frame layout - so you can now have a frame that is 2x3 for example.
There is also a small "+" option button that can be used to "un-ignore" a buff and on a left click will show/hide the default player vitals.
Know Bugs:- Overflow - If you get more buffs than a frame can hold it will overflow. I have deliberately left this bug in.
- Fill - Not all fill directions are supported by Turbine and the fix I have used isn't perfect.
- Programmer does the plugin for fun, so he may not be able to update too quickly. Hang on? Is that a bug?
NOTES:Many thanks to DeusDictum and Pengoros...
This plugin was made by me, for me! I hope you get some good use from it. If not, please be constructive with your comments - I don't get paid for this!
I have NOT tested this with non-English clients. Sorry.
I consider this to be Beta work. There WILL be bugs! Change Log
v175: Lots of fixes and changes. You will lose the scale of your frames when updating. No longer has the "stretch" bug. Shows a preview of icon size, the "+" button makes an appearance (this can be resized too), frames can be resized as well as rescaled.
V152: Second attempt...
v151: Fixed (Hopefully) the bug on dying.
29/4/11 Initial release.

I was yes, but it looks like something was amiss with the Turbine.Utils i had loaded. I reloaded that and it's fine, thanks.
I had one question:
I'm trying to modify it, until you decide to add in options. I wanted to change the fontsize of the timer countdown for my eyes, but no change i make to that works; i've gone to Verdana20, and it doesn't affect things. I'm sure there's something i'm missing that's negating the sizing, but have no idea what. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards.

To change the size of the font change the size of the textbox that holds it. That should have the desired effect.

Yes, this is an unavoidable bug. If you switch it to vertical and then reload plugins it will be fine.

Fonts
I figured out why the font changes were not working. You have to explicitly import the Turbine.UI methods for each file, in order to call the fonts... or something.
I added the Import calls to the top, and was able to change the fonts to something more highly visible.
Other than that it works really well. It's annoying about the tooltips though. Limited APIs piss me off alot. Damn thing is missing the most important part of the buffs, actual stats.
Anyway, great work. Saved me alot of trouble as i've wanted to this, and not BuffBars, for a while now.
Regards.

Bug detected!
Sometimes bugs when you die - a quick /rl (or reloading plugins) fixes the issue for now.
EDIT: Hopefully fixed with version 151

I have a new version nearly ready - it now allows frames of different sizes as well as scales.
However, I want to playtest this before release, and the world ends tomorrow at mid-day!

Maybe I am 8 years late, but i have some issues with the plugin.
When I login with another char, the plugin won't work on any char, including the one i already configurated it. The plugin even cannot load anymore, so i have to delete my whole plugin folder to solve it.
Everytime i have to install and configurate all my plugins, because this buffFrame is a very nice tool in general.
Can someone help me?
cheers,
xantaros

Do you see any error messages in the chat window, when you try to load it?
