Hi Patrion,

Here is a temporary fix for the plugin, until Vinny gets around to fixing it the right way.

Save the downloaded file (__init__.lua) into the plugin source code directory at

Plugins/Vinny/Common/__init__.lua

You will also need to delete your settings files. These are located at

PluginData/<account>/<server>/AllCharacters/DailyTasks_Settings.plugindata

and possibly

PluginData/<account>/<server>/<character>/DailyTasks_Settings.plugindata

Hi Vinny,

first of all .. your plugin sounds great ...
but ....
I cant use it.

Whenever I try to run it it says:
"DT: German data
DT: Daily Tasks 4.5.2, settings loaded.
attempt to compare string with number
...he Rings Online\Plugins\Vinny\DailyTasks\DT_Main.lua:65: Failed to import package
"Vinny.DailyTasks.DT_Window".
Laden von "Dailytasks" nicht möglich.
(means: loading of dailytasks is impossible).

I tried to replace some variables in DT_Window without success.
I tried to run an older version .. without success ...

I think its possibly a german client thing ... possibly a difference in
european and us-digit .. thingy ... like "." and "," ...
but I really dont know.
The Plugin is in the right place and all folders are named correctly.

Pls help ^^

I have noticed that one of the tasks is missing from the update.

Dwarf Sword Sheath is a task for the Grey Mountains Expedition or Dwarf-Holds(GM) as you have named it.

I do hope you keep supporting the plugin.

I appreciate the "thank you"s. It's one of the few development activities that I maintain now that I'm retired. While it takes time to keep it up to date, it also saves me more time than if I didn't have it. I have 12 characters that I play, but only a few that I spend significant time on.

Thank you a million times for this plugin, and for faithfully updating it every time we get new task items. As the owner of several Hot Shot cloaks, I have turned in a LOT of tasks! I wish I'd had your plugin when I started, but I've used it the past couple of years and it's awesome.

Does anyone else have a problem with Grey Mountain tasks not showing up on the homestead task boards when they are visible on the boards in the Dwarf-holds? I finally got my main character up to level 110 so that I could read the task boards in the Dwarf-holds zone and I was verifying my guesses about task parameters, but I couldn't see the tasks om any on the homestead boards. My question is whether higher level players have the same problem.

They just didn't add homesteads taskboard for U23. It looks like new taskboard is actually needed (lvl 111-120) but there is no place for it. So that needs more work than just adding new items to existing one... Hopefully they add it later.
At lvl110 you can relatively easy reach new area (without mithril coins). There is stable from Ost Galadh to Dale Lands and from there you can ride north to Ered Mithrin.

This version is a minor update. It fixes a typo that prevented Dwarf Sword Sheath from being recognized and lowers the minimum level for Dwarf-holds tasks to 110.

It also adds a convenience shortcut for homesteads. If you hold down the Shift key when setting the Homesteads checkbox, it will also set the R-O checkbox, set the Filter to Complete and run the command "/dtc".

I noticed this too, was looking for them there yesterday and did not found them on the homesteads boards

if i remember right the higest task board i saw was labeled only as -110, and the new tasks are level 120

This version adds the new boards included with Lotro update 23 in the new zone Dwarf-holds. Mobs in this zone are level 116-120.

As my highest level character can't view the task boards directly yet, this is based on supplied information and may need to be revised when I get to the needed level.

The latest Lotro update added a new zone for level 116-120 with 4 new task board for Grey Mountains Expedition tasks. However, my highest character is currently level 108 and can't read the new boards or kill the new mobs to collect the new trophy items.

So currently, all I can do is add the new board locations. If someone with a high-level character can supply me with the new tasks details, I'll add them and publish a new release.
