Working around problems with Lua API bugs in the patch

Version 1.7b : bug fix release:
I believe I fixed issues with loading plugin "for the first time".
Created a lot of workarounds to combat overload behavior, because to many events fire when items are auto-moved during sort & load, but it still causes slowdown while in progress. Will add option to minimize Onebag window while reordering items in next update or empty the window while its happening. Also trying to hold major item movements in the bags while sorting, but still not advisable to do anything while sort or load is in progress.
Made some temporary fixes to show some of the "disapearing" items when items are moved in or out of bags. None of these items are gone, just not visible due Turbine Lua API improper behavior.

My issue is not the same as the one in the thread. Ever since the patch, when I try to load the latest version of FilterBag, both FilterBag *and* the original inventory appear at the same time - except that FilterBag is empty. Any suggestions would be most appreciated, as this is one of my very favorite plugins. Thanks so much!

This is a great plugin. It would be nice to have an option to start with this closed, however. Just a minor annoyance having to close it every time I start it up.

Invisible/Disappearing Items

Specifically with craft tools. When I select a tool to use from my filterbag and it equips and replaces another tool, the previous tool should return to my bags. However it is not there. When I relog and open my bags with the default game interface, they are there.

Didn't test much beyond that. I won't be using your bags anymore because I don't care to have this happen anymore unexpectedly. Maybe its just the craft tools, maybe its not, but I hope it can be fixed.

let me shed some light on this...

all bags plugins use certain turbine API-s but turbine "ripped it off" as i saw in another post, so now every inventory / bag addon has the same problem.

This is exactly how the bug appears:

Say you have x equipped and want to equip y. You right click y, but instead of x going to bag, you see y moving to the position where x should have gone.
But actually y really is equipped and x really is in bag, you just don't see it right... bag is out of sync. One solution is to relog yes, but i prefer to unload, and reload.

Unfortunately unloading just a specific addon doesn't seem to work, so i unload all addons then reload them

Obviously i'm not tiping it all... I hahave an entire quickbar (hidden unless i press ctrl) with shortcuts for theese commands.

So this is what you need:

/shortcut 10 /plugins unload <unloads all plugins when clicked>
/shortcut 11 /plugins load FilterBag <reload fliterbag>

and each time you equip / unequip an item, click shortcut 10, then shortcut 11. this is a temporary hot-fix... turbine needs to fix they're own APIs.

This is the short of what i read, and a temporary solution... for more details,

here is a quote of goldbishop's from bellow:
