Align
Now works with both EU and US clients!
Adds a slash command /align that shows a grid to aid visual alignment of elements. /align again to hide the grid.
The grid has dashed lines every 16 pixels, a solid line every 32 pixels and centre lines in red. The origin for the main grid is the top left corner.
The latest version accepts "/align d" as an alternative command - this gives you a decimal grid (dotted line every 10 pixels, solid line every 20) NOTE: If a grid is already showing it will just hide the grid and not show a new one.
Credits
Thanks to Align where the idea comes from.
Updates
Version 1 starts the grid at the top left. This means the lines may not quite line up with the centre.
Version 1a aligns the grid with the centre lines. This means the lines may not quite line up with the boundaries.
Version 1b adds a decimal grid
Version 1c fix for Patch
To install
Unzip to the Plugins folder.
You will also need Turbines standard code
To load; /plugins load align

Odd, and not sure of why the error is cropping up. Could you try logging out and back in?

Re: Not working
Okay, I guess I had the turbine extensions installed in the wrong place, but now when I use the command /align, I just get "32" as a textual response, and nothing else happens.

Not working
I just get an error message "Unable to load "align"." I don't know if I don't have the right dependency files downloaded, or if I don't have them in the right directory, but all of the example plugins load correctly for me.

Align isn't working at all for me either. It used to work fine. I think I had the initial version installed on my new computer. I recently bought a new machine. I've installed every version of Align and can't get any of them to work. It loads fine. But when I type /align it doesn't do anything. For the most recent versions it returns "34". For older versions it doesn't do that. Let me know if I can help troubleshoot. I really like the utility- hopefully I can get it working somehow.

Ok, for some odd reason the "JackdawPlugins" folder was missed. I have no idea why. Odd.
Will re-upload without using the SVN.

Figured I would give this a shot seeing as how I got very annoyed that my vitals wouldn't line up. lol But because I have such wonderful luck, I'm getting an error when I try to load the plugin.
Unable to resolve package "JackdawPlugins.Align.Main".
Did I break something or did you? lol :P
Thanks again!

Ah, see I knew something would turn up! This didn't show on my resolution and I didn't spot it!
Let me see if I can - will try my best!
EDIT: Done did - pick which version you want for which alignment.

would it be possible to have the grid center itself on the screen center lines rather from the top left?
Doing it from the top left makes it so it's a little harder to align stuff due to all the other lines being offset a few pixels.
