Yeah, sorry this is a Multiple language problem. If you open up the Tonic/TonicBars/Localization/English/MenuStrings.lua and copy ALL of the strings for ClassBars and EasyBarMenu to Tonic/TonicBars/Localization/<your lanugage>/MenuStrings.lua
You should be good to go, I'll test that and push up a new version for you all when I get home, but that should get you running.

1) Yeah, the whole reason I'm doing this beta is to HELP people use TonicBars. Sadly, though I'm focusing on mostly Reactionary Classes and your class is a Debuffer. We can't watch buffs on Targeted mobs yet. One thing I'm going to try with the LM is to group some common skills into standard bars and show them, but they won't de-clutter your screen which is really the point, to only show skills when you can use them.
The LM has like one or two skills that fit this description. So, it won't really help you learn the LM, but if you used like a Champ, RuneKeeper, Hunter, Captain, Ministrel, Burg you get some good solid bars that are directly enabled during combat and triggered from other skills.
2) You can Definitely use TonicBars without knowing a LOT about the game. The point is to help you define your interface the way you want. Turbine only provides 5 bars and they are mostly a fixed size (1 row) and color. With TonicBars, you can create all different type of bars, including bars that are hidden until you mouse over them (extensions) which are great for LM Pets, Horses, Travel options, Weapons, etc. You can change background color, opacity of the bars, and more.

I am new to LotRO and have only played one other MMO (for about a year now), so I haven't learned it quite well enough to know exactly what I want yet.
But, this looks fantastic and is a great concept. When I'm up to speed, I plan on using it.
I guess the reason for this post is twofold; - To tell you to keep up the good work - I don't want you giving up (not that you will) before I can fully understand and implement this system.
- Is this system good in helping a newb learn LotRO? Or, put another way, should I go ahead and use this before I get to used to the default UI?
FYI - My main IS a Lore Master

Yeah, I love the idea, think it's great. Though the reseting is really quite annoying, once that is fixed, I can enjoy it alot more :P Havn't come across any other problems as yet, but will keep an eye out

I've gotten asked for this like 3 times now, I'll be sure to add it either in the next release or very soon after.

Just started using this plugin.
Enjoying it so far.
One problem I am having is that sometimes I can't always keep my mouse movements straight when I'm moving my cursor across a long series of slots in an extension (or I move too fast a shoot my cursor off the end of the extension bar when going for the last slot in the extension). Unfortunately, if my mouse leaves the extension bar by even a single pixel, BAM it's gone and I need to start all over again by moving my cursor back to the 1st icon to reopen the extension.
So, it would be really nice if there were a setting where you can say 'Hide the Extension Bar after X seconds", where you can set X to however many seconds (say 1 to 5) that you'd like. I'd probably only need to set it to a second or two, just so that when my cursor accidentally briefly leaves the extension bar, it doesn't close immediately.
An alternative, and perhaps easier, way to do this would be to have extension bars stay open until you either choose one of the slots in it, OR you click anywhere outside the bar to close it without making a selection. In other words, add the choice, 'Stop Displaying Extension When: A Selection is made'.
This solution could be helpful in other ways, if for instance someone wanted to have multiple extension bars showing at once. They can hover over the 1st icon(s) to open the extension bar(s), see all the extension icons they want to see, and then close them by making a selection (or clicking outside the bars to make no selection). Though this might be best left as an option, as some may prefer only one extension bar to be visible at a time (so you'd need to have a way where if a new bar opens, a previously open one closes).

Hello.
I'm trying to use tonic bars to display captains banners triggered for when the buffs are inactive.
This works fine for banners of war and victory but not at all for banner of hope.
Just letting you know.
Thanks for a great addon, i can't live without it

Could you sort the class-triggers the same way they're listed in the localization files? Now they're mixed everytime you restart the plugin. Did you receive my german files?

Still not working, but i don't have the ? instead of the é anymore
EDIT : after some try, its not linked to the é. Some buff with é are working, some aren't, even if they dont have a é inside
for example, fervour buff doesnt work
