Smallish update for Nov patch compatibility. Also one new feature: mini mode. Right-click the Lotropad button to see what it does. Additionally, shift is not required to move the button now. There's some other small fixes as well.

Some might also be happy to know that after the Nov patch special characters will also work in Lotropad, thanks to Turbine .

Thank you for updating LotroPad and SongBook for Nov Update compliance. I find LotroPad indispensible (I'm probably one of your first users)

I like the new LotroPad button (hadn't updated in a while), but it doesn't seem to remember its position when I move it. Looks like the plugin settings file has settings for position of the main window, but not for the button and there is no settings file for LotroPad on my individual character.

Ah you are right, I could swear I had it in the code at some point. But at least not anymore apparently. Thanks for pointing it out. I will make an update and fix this.

Edit: Updated to 0.81 with this fix.

Suggestion

I agree with Valdacil, lotropad is absolutely indispensable. Beats using my bio all the time. Plus, I ran out of room. Anyway ... could you perhaps make the lotropad icon adjustable for opacity. I have AltInvintory, TonicBars and then lotropad and lotropad sticks out like a sore thumb with it being 100% opacity. Just looks ugly lol.

Hehe, request received. I could make it fade like the other ones perhaps.

What exactly does this mean?
Quote:
Background images might not be visible with some skins. This depends on how the alpha channel is set in ArtAssetID "black_translucent" image.
I set a background image because I'm learning a warden and I needed a cheat sheet. The image is so light or faded that I cannot see it clearly. Can I modify my skin in some way so that the image will be visible? I found this line in the skin definition xml file:
<Mapping ArtAssetID="black_translucent" FileName="..\Graphics\misc\black_translucent.tga" />
Can I modify that tga file in some way to make images visible in Lotropad? I'm using a modified version of the Yessh skin. TIA

EDIT: I figured it out I believe. I opened the referenced tga file in paint.net and moved the opacity slider of the layer all the way to the left and saved it (made a copy of the file first as a backup). I then reloaded the skin and the image is completely clear in Lotropad. So far it didn't appear to screw up my skin in any way that I've noticed.

I don't remember how paint .net handles it, but yes it should work something like that. For example in Photoshop you can edit the real .tga alpha layer, but the end result is probably the same :-).

I'm using this all the time, one awesome feature would be if we were able to add item links in the notes, to easily make lists with stuff for auctions, recipies and other lists where items are important.

Hi, I love lotropad but it does have on little annoyance. I move the toggle button where I want it on my screen, but the next time I load up the plugin, the button is right back to it's initial location. Is it possible to have it remember where I put it so I don't have to manually move it every time?

Thanks for the plugin and keep up the great work!!

Hm, yes I've been also thinking about that but I don't think there's a programming interface for doing something like that yet.

Yes, this was an embarrassing bug with version 0.80. It should have been fixed with version 0.81 I hope?
