Hello,

In your LotRo documents folder is where you would create a new folder and then name it Plugins. From there is where you would put all of your plugins and the data from Turbine as well. Once you have used the plugins in game, there will be an additional folder that is created by the game name PluginData.

I hope this helps.

Hi all,

I don't have a Plug-In folder. How do I get one? Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I had to ask.

Aha! I wasn't using set for the body of the text, just saving. I tried again and hit Set and then hit Save and it works fine!

Excellent work! And a great idea! Thanks!!!
Heh, good . I have to admit that the 'Set' button is a bit confusing. Initially it was called 'Save' and it actually saved the note then and there. But after Turbine removed real-time writing from plugins I was being cautious and made just one global 'save all' button.

Also, if you just click another note it will do the same thing as clicking 'Set'.

Re: Saved notes not loading

Hey, great app! I can see tons of use for this in game.

But I am having trouble. Notes I entered for a test (and saved with the Save button) don't seem to load when I log out and then back in. Any ideas on how I can correct this?
Thanks and as for the problem you are having.. I'm not exactly sure what could be wrong. If you enter a note and then press 'Set' (this just enters it into the runtime database) and then press 'Save all' (which should write it to the disk), do you get text on the chat window? There should be 'Lotropad save executing soon' on green and then within a minute or so 'Lotropad settings saved'. However, if there's something wrong it might give an error text on red.

Yes, I believe the most convenient way to do this at the moment is by making a shortcut.

So for example:
/shortcut 36 /lotropad toggle

And then use the resulting button to show and hide the window.

Edit: heh too late

You can easy create a shortcut for it with the shortcut command:

/shortcut 1 /lotropad toggle

This will create a shortcut in slot 1 of your first quickslot bar that will toggle the lotropad visible/hidden.

Quick Question

I checked this out briefly in beta, but was wondering if you close the window, do you have to do the command line to reopen? If so, no big deal, I don't need more on my screen, but just wondering if I would/should create a shortcut quickslot for my wife who doesn't normally like to remember / commands except emotes LOL.
