You can enter into the search field a phrase that will be matched. For example if you put stun anything with stun in the name will match. You will have to do some experimenting to determine if these kind of effect fall under the undefined category and if they are curable. If you turn on logging you can get that information from the chat window.

Looking at the line number for the error I'd say you have an older version of BuffBars. I recommend getting the latest version (1.2.0) and trying that.

Bug?
Hello and thank you for your great plugin. I recently paused to play for about a month and after starting playing again and updating all the plugins Buffbars stopped working for me. It will load, but not show up and when I try to access the options the following shows up:
"...Rings Online\Plugins\PengorosPlugins\Utils\Misc.lua:29: bad argument #1 to 'max' (number expected, got string)"
I always start my plugins with Plugin Manager. I now changed to Bootstrap but still the same errror. The same shows up even if I just load buffbars without any startup manager. Hope you can help me.

What version are you running of BuffBars? Since it doesn't load you may have an older incompatible version.

Yes I am in the process of revamping the way effects are triggered. You will be able to make effect show if they match the string you specify. It will be very similar to what I have done for the quickslot section with triggers. Basically you can create a trigger to make an effect show. It can super general or very specific. Customizing which effects are show will be much easier that the current system. If I have time I may even get in the lists of class specific buffs so you can create triggers based on your character class.

Hi Pengoros! It's comforting to hear that you're poised to adapt BuffBars to the new API when it's released
Currently, in Beta, plugins are a major issue. There are constant crashes and as far as I know, the culprit (or rather: "the bug") has not yet been found. Keeping my fingers crossed, as will you and many others, I'm sure!
I have a question about BB, or perhaps a request: some have told me they have certain bars set up to show only a specific effect, or a few effects. The only way to do this that I can think of is to either manually ignore all other effects if and when they show up and/or adjust the timers on which effects are shown, so they match the timers on the effects you wish to see.
This doesn't provide me with enough flexibility though, so unfortunately at the moment I have to resort to using yet another plugin (currently BuffMonitor) to do this for me. for some reason i can't get this plugin to run at all anymore after a reinstall of the lotro client
when i use the manager it won't load at all saying "unable to load plugin" whenever i try to load it individually
if i try to load it with every other plugin unloaded it says "loaded successfully" however it will not show up neither am i able to access the settings screen
other plugins i have installed are: palantir, LI spender, bevy o bars (tho currently not used), the manager of course and the travel plugin
any pointers?

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be making sure the plugin works correctly once RoI is released. In addition I'll be adding party member buffs to the feature set. Yes LMs, you will be able to track stun immunity .

Heads up for RoI
I've been using BuffBars since I started using plugins and really appreciate the work you've done with it.
I am in the RoI Beta and now that the NDA is lifted I wanted to give you a heads up that a lot of us in Beta have found that something in BuffBars is causing the client to crash to desktop due to the changes that Turbine has made to LUA.
Hope it's an easy fix once RoI goes live.

I just wanted to start by thanking you for your hard work! It's a great addon, and I really like it a lot. I do have a feature request, though.
Would it be possible to allow the color-coding of specific responses? For example, us Guardians want to keep Guardian's Ward up as much as possible, but due to the FIFO nature of the cooldown timer, I sometimes have a hard time figuring out where it is in the list. Being able to set a filter to change the color of a specific item would be really useful.
