A 3 row high, 2 bar wide (24 button wide) toolbar, centered on the 15 left buttons to allow for a chat window in the bottom left corner.
Toolbar is divided into 3x3 squares for easy and quick navigation in the midst of the battle. The 5 center (left) squares are also coloured for this purpose.
Don't forget to reposition the interface as per instructions in the SkinDefinition.xml file.

ok... need help again, i have established i am pretty fail at figuring this code out, i just got a new computer and monitor, the monitor is a 1920 x 1080.
my best efforts have gotten me here
im not so worried about the extended scaler, i can figure that one out... once i get the main bar settled
my code is the following, i have pushed the X to 1500 and it still sits to the left

Iari's Toolbar
I have just downloaded your skin as I found it to be a great idea. For some reason though it is not working right most of the colored boxs are not on screen. I went back and changed my resolution to match 1440x900 hopeing that would help but it did not I use 1920x1080 can you help figure out what I need to do to make your skin work for me as I love the idea.

No, sorry, those aren't controlled by those numbers but free-floating normal quick bars, so you have to position those yourself (normal CTRL-\ stuff).
(I made the .layout file I included by doing that, saving the ui, and cutting out everything that didn't have anything to do with the bars.)

i really appreciate you helping me with the skin, it seems like i need a little more help though.... ok.... im pretty sure that im doing it right.... i set the lines you gave me to

Glad to hear it. If you want, you can move it a little more to the right by changing these values:

Increase both those numbers with how many pixels you want to move things to the right.

i restarted the client every time i changed a setting, it must of been me not being able to set up the skindefinition file correctly, there's just a lot of numbers in there that are confusing to me...
the zip file that you put up worked very well, i was finaly able to clean up my quickbars
compared to what ive been running

Switching between fullscreen and windowed mode is a known issue and it will dislocate the custom ui. relogging should fix the problem (though you have to relog every time you switch between the modes)

It seems like you either didn't set the coordinates for the skin, or you didn't (re)start the game after you set them. For some reason the game needs to be restarted to load xml files...
But anyway, I poked at it myself and the values should be

i really like this skin, but i cant get it to work for anything, i dont know if i set the skin definition correct or not, i followed the directions as best as i could,
my screen looked like this when i was all done
i had to undock and manualy place all of my bars to get it to look like
but when i went to full screen everything shifted up
any help, tips or solutions for me would be greatly appreciated

The first version I uploaded didn't actually work (I inserted a comment in the xml file before the <?>-tag that the file needs), but I think I managed to upload an actual working version before it got through the system.
