After- The new Taller frame!
|
|
Before - the old craft frame
|
|
Tall Craft
This is a simple interface enhancement, not a full replacement of the UI.
Pictures are worth more than words - have a look...
The story:
I became sick of the cramped top section of the default crafting frame and wanted to be able to see more items at once.
This is the alternative to WideCraft, as some people preferred a vertical layout. The top section has simply been made longer.
Install as you would any interface.
If you want to use this in your own custom UI, please just give me a little credit!
NOTE: Only tested by myself. Any bugs please note below.

Very nice mod. I've incorporated a slightly modified version of it into the latest version of my updated skin here.

I want to build in the TallCraft or the WideCraft in the next AzureGlass
For the blueness Frame, it is a simply Modification
Download paint.net/(it's free)
Open the tall_crafting_background.tga
Adjustments --> Hue/Saturation
Hue = 180
Saturation = 200
Lightness = 0
Save it

Just looked at Azure Glass - tallcraft will change the Crafting Frame and you will lose that nice "blueness" on that one frame.
1) Backup the SkinDefiniton.xml file that comes with AzureGlass - just in case.
2) Open the SkinDefinition.xml file that comes with AzureGlass - Find the line that says <Mapping ArtAssetID="crafting_background" FileName="backgrounds/crafting_background.tga" /> and delete it!
3) Now go right to the bottom - just before </opt>
4) Open the SkinDefinition.xml file that comes with TallCraft and delete everything down to where it says <!--The tall skin-->. Then delete the last line that says </opt> TallCraft should now just consist of a file that says <Mapping ArtAssetID="crafting_background" FileName="tall_crafting_background.tga" ></Mapping> to </PanelFile>
5) Cut all that is left of TallCraft and paste it into AzureGlass just before the </opt> at the end.
6) Copy the file tall_crafting_background.tga from TallCraft to the AzureGlass folder.
Save and test!
Sorry it is so cumbersome - Never been any good at writing lists of instructions...

This is awesome! I am always pissed with the small crafting window :P.
BUT Could anyone give me a hint how to instal it into another UI? I am using Azure Glass. Thanks a lot!
