I'm a bit confused... I've tested and the moria gate is still there, like it has been... the tree of gondor is gone for now as I need to make an RK only version without the tree and haven't got around to finishing it as I'm attempting to update the blue version...

another issue is that I use 1920x1080 and I've only updated my skindef.xml file.... meaning daimon's original setup batch file won't work as none of the added info is in them... I'm going to have to test each and every resolution and adjust accordingly to them AS WELL as take apart my skindef for my res and break it into the right spots to insert into his setup batch file.

I'm working when I can and will be getting this done "hopefully" soon. busy with real life though.

Never mind it was just me forgetting to relog after i used the skin

How do you get the moria gate and the tree etc. to show?

2) I like immersing myself in worlds by minimizing the amount of interface on the screen. I'd like to hide the background art for the bottom bar. How can I do this? I think it is letterbox_bottom in SkinDefinition.xml, but I don't know how to properly disable it.
These are read, and I know I only update about every six months, I apologize I'm extremely busy and don't always have the time to sit down.

the mini version has most certainly become deprecated as I've never updated it aside from the first version, I WILL sit down and do an update to it to fix the problems and release it with the next update... hopefully a week but... maybe a bit more, there are some things I need to get done for the next release.

again apologies at the length between updates.

they changed the way its calculated now so it make the buttons of the skin non working but the fix was really easy.

need to goto your skin ui folder in c:/users/xxxx/my documents/lord of the rings online/ui/skins <and the skins name>

then edit the SkinDefinition.xml and find this line

<Element ID="ToolbarField" X="570" Y="2000" Width="520" Height="80"

and you need to alter the y= to a different number. the number is generated by the height of your display in lotro minus the height in that line, so in that line it would be 2000 - 80, but in actuality it will be your display height - 80 e.g. my display is 1680 x 1050 so my y number is 970 ie 1050-80. did that last night and bingo my ui worked again.

btw this was the fix for the unclickable mainbar buttons and it does away with altering the scale in options.
I remember hearing something about that being the case... and then someone said maybe it was a mistake on their part... figured I'd leave it alone for now.

the next release will have this fix in it... I'm working on the Mini version and the universal version as well as adding the Horse Health bar and fixing the blue skin

Thanks WickedMouse,

It didn't work at first, until I added... the File Name along with the ArtAssestID

<Mapping ArtAssetID="letterbox_bottom_mc" FileName="minibar.tga" />

The only issue I have right now is a minor one. The buttons on the bottom of the toolbar containing the crafting panel, deed log, character panel etc.....
do not do anything when you click on them
read above, it's a bug introduced in rohan you have to go into options>ui settings> and set the ui scale higher or lower then set it back.... you have to do this every single time you log on.

Open SkinDefinition.xml in a text editor, like notepad or Notepad++ or EditPlus, and search for:

Mapping ArtAssetID="LetterBox_Bottom"

When you found that line, create a copy below it and change it into, and don't change the filename reference:

Mapping ArtAssetID="LetterBox_Bottom_mc"

It appears that that line is not included. Oh and the same goes for:

Mapping ArtAssetID="opponent_vitals_backdrop"

Where the different anniversary vitals aren't added:

Mapping ArtAssetID="opponent_vitals_backdrop_1_year"
Mapping ArtAssetID="opponent_vitals_backdrop_2_years"
Mapping ArtAssetID="opponent_vitals_backdrop_3_years"
Mapping ArtAssetID="opponent_vitals_backdrop_4_years"
Mapping ArtAssetID="opponent_vitals_backdrop_5_years"

For your own it would be:

Mapping ArtAssetID="player_vitals_backdrop"

with added:

Mapping ArtAssetID="player_vitals_backdrop_1_year"
Mapping ArtAssetID="player_vitals_backdrop_2_years"
Mapping ArtAssetID="player_vitals_backdrop_3_years"
Mapping ArtAssetID="player_vitals_backdrop_4_years"
Mapping ArtAssetID="player_vitals_backdrop_5_years"
thanks for posting this, I have been working on fixing the regular UI now it's time to focus on the mini and universal version.

I want to use the Mirkwood theme for this skin. But whenever I mount my War-Steed, this is what I get.

I have installed the DaimonUI and the ROR fix.

Is there a way to fix this? Or is there an updated blue version that I can use?

hello, can you fix that purple color instead of black color for your skin? or if you say that you can do to make it myself. The skill bar 1 (0-1), it can not be pushed away from mouse skills.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
what do you mean purple instead of black, as far as I know everything is purple there are some broken buttons that I've not been able to fix yet but nothing major.

(the quest acceptance button for example)

I forgot to move the quickslot switcher in the other resolutions. I am busy this week but will get on it now and release the update as soon as it's fixed.

again the ui layouts are for 1920x1080 resolution, so they will be a bit messed up upon loading them.
