This UI skin replaces the overly-clunky warden gambit bar with a smaller and less obtrusive one. It
only alters the gambit bar.

It is possible (with a bit of tinkering) to splice this UI skin into an already-existing one. Here's how:
First, copy the Class and General folders (in the Black Fade (Gambit Only) folder) into your current UI's main folder. These
are case-sensitive, so don't change the file or folder names. These are the graphics files the comprise the gambit bar.
Next, open up the SkinDefinition.xml for BF(GO) in Notepad (or any other text editor). Copy the following lines:
Code:
<Mapping ArtAssetID="gambit_bg_2" FileName="Class\gambit_bg_2.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="gambit_bg_3" FileName="Class\gambit_bg_3.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="gambit_bg_4" FileName="Class\gambit_bg_4.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="gambit_bg_5" FileName="Class\gambit_bg_5.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="gambit_shieldAndSpear" FileName="Class\gambit_mainbox.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="gambit_empty" FileName="Class\gambit_empty.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="box_gambit_title_center" FileName="Class\box_gambit_title_center.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="box_gambit_title_left" FileName="General\invisible.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="box_gambit_title_right" FileName="General\invisible.tga"></Mapping>
Those are the commands that tell the game which graphics to load for the gambit bar. Close that down.
Next, open your current UI skin's SkinDefinition.xml the same way and paste those lines at any point between the "<SkinName Name="..."></SkinName>" command at the top and the </opt> command at the bottom. Save this as SkinDefinition.xml.
Note: With Notepad, you have to
manually type the .xml file type, otherwise it'll save it as a .txt and it won't work.
That should be it.

There is a working version of the full Black Fade UI skin available. It's not currently finished, but most of the major elements are in place. You can find that one here:
Black Fade Beta
Any comments or suggestions are, of course, welcome.
Enjoy!
Version Changes:
v1.1- "Softened" the gradient on both the text bars and the empty gambit slots a bit. Renamed the "Misc" folder (now "General") to ease splicing this into pre-existing interfaces.
v1.0- Initial release.
