AZURE GLASS by Enfield of Landroval
v1.4.1
Latest version can be downloaded at
http://www.lotrointerface.com.
[ Description ]
This interface uses the "glossy" or "glass" style to give the default LOTRO UI a cleaner and more modern look.
[ Installation Instructions ]
Extract the contents of this folder to the following location:
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\
Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\
You may have to create the above folders if they do not already exist.
[ Configuration ]
In order for the toolbar to be placed properly, you'll need to modify the X and Y position manually in the SkinDefinition.xml file. The line you'll need to modify is the following line:
<Element ID="ToolbarField" X="..." Y="..." Width="1024" Height="144">
The rules for calculating the values are:
X = (Resolution Width - 1024) / 2
Y = Resolution Height - 135
Example:
Your resolution is 1280x1024
X = (1280 - 1024) / 2 = 128
Y = 1024 - 135 = 889
After loading the UI for the first time, you'll have to restart your LOTRO client for everything to be positioned correctly. If you don't want to use the custom toolbar due to current limitations of the client, the old toolbar is available by simply replacing the SkinDefinition.xml with the SkinDefinition_OldToolbar.xml file.
[ Known Issues ]
These are the current known issues with the UI. Most of them are caused either from bugs in the game or limitation of the skinning system. If you find a bug not listed below, please send me a PM on the forums on
www.lotrointerface.com.
- The small Attunement gauge is cropped so part of the right half does not show
- If locked, the Item Advancement icon on the toolbar uses the old icon image
- The border of the selection image in the Social panel isn't quite squared away (bug submitted to Turbine)
