That's because they start from the top. The space takes up the same amount of room, and it's on top of the vitals.
Hmm, how do you invert them?
I don't quite understand the question. Do you want the effects to be below the vitals, or do you want to make them start from the bottom of the effect area? For the first one, DaimonUI is supposed to put them on top, so you'd have to use a different UI. For the second one, I don't think that's possible.

I was wondering about the extra addons with bk 7... I installed daimonui3 and then added the pieces the other person posted into the xml... the only problem is it makes the opponent panel look like the normal UI instead of being skinned..
any idea what is causing that? or what I need to put it to make it look right? I did replace what you had there so should I just add the previously posted xml additions into it instead of replacing it?
thanks again for the background looks great.

Sounds like you might have replaced the mapping section instead on accident.
Here's a link to the whole SkinDefinition.XML file. Copy over the old one and see if that fixes your problem. http://f.imagehost.org/download/0122/SkinDefinition

Thanks
Sorry to bring you this guys and gals but European Book 7 has been postponed to April the 2nd. ..I'll see if I can come up some sort of temporary patch for the US users but I don't make any promises.
And yes I have been planning for a lite version for some time .. haven't had the time for it yet though :/
I don't plan to enable the level indicator as in my opinion its totally useless (you can check your own level from the XP bar too).
But if you want to enable it just find ID="PlayerLevel" from the skindefinition.xml and change the width/height values (you can see the correct values at the end of that line - I made a comment there earlier)

Also, the buffs/debuffs icons seem a little too high? Or is that just me? hehe

I really love this UI. Only thing that just fails to grow on me is the Toolbar.
I use 1280x1024 resolution, and the toolbar just seems too big ![Frown](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/frown.gif)
Every other element of the UI is fantastic!
Is there any plans on a "Lite" version of the toolbar coming out at some stage?
If i knew what i was doing i would try it myself but i have tried and do not know where to begin hehe.

Sorry to be a pain, i just really like this UI and id love to get it perfect for me ![Smile](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/smile.gif)
Is there any way we could have access to the PS files for easy editing?
Or if you could tell me how i can sort the above mentioned myself, i could have a go ![Smile](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/smile.gif)

So Liftedplane .. have a looksie at here
good stuff, thanks for doing that. I would have most definitely messed that one up.

Nill: Thanks for your efforts!
Liftedplane: Oh yes I forgot all about that. I'll try to find the picture from my archives... hope it's still there somewhere. And only way to get it work on 3.0 is to do some photoshopping - no need to do any XML.

Turbine added a new Element to the OpponentPanel and changed the ordering a little bit. I love the skin and tweaked the xml so I could continue to use it and keep things looking good post Book 7.
Open SkinDefinition.xml in notepad and a simple copy/paste to the OpponentPanel section will get those vitals back where they should be.
Code:
<!--opponent vitals-->
<PanelFile ID="ID_UISkin_OpponentPanel">
<Element ID="OpponentPanel" X="279" Y="2" Width="284" Height="130">
<Element ID="VitalsParent" X="0" Y="20" Width="284" Height="110">
<Element ID="OpponentDisplayParent" X="0" Y="0" Width="272" Height="130">
<Element ID="OpponentEffectDisplay" X="29" Y="16" Width="170" Height="54"></Element>
<Element ID="Opponent_SelectionField" X="7" Y="0" Width="272" Height="120">
<Element ID="OpponentsVitals_BG" X="30" Y="61" Width="176" Height="32"></Element>
<Element ID="OpponentVitalsField" X="30" Y="55" Width="168" Height="42"></Element>
<Element ID="OpponentPanel_BG" X="-1" Y="1" Width="277" Height="104"></Element>
<Element ID="OpponentClass" X="187" Y="85" Width="20" Height="20"></Element>

<Element ID="OpponentPanel_COVER_LOWRES" X="206" Y="43" Width="64" Height="62"></Element>
<Element ID="OpponentLevel_BG" X="199" Y="91" Width="1" Height="1"></Element>
<Element ID="OpponentLevel" X="200" Y="92" Width="32" Height="17"></Element>

<Element ID="OpponentName" X="10" Y="90" Width="185" Height="14"></Element>
</Element>
</Element>

That's true.
Anyway they seem to have added some new, um, things. You know, the things? They didn't just change the numbers, they added new things that have numbers... those. I don't know. You know.

have to add something about the ingame scalers for my notes then ![Smile](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/smile.gif) great that it worked.
Scyphozoa: I was sure that there will be problems with B7 but i'm playing on EU servers so I can't fix anything untill they release it here too :/ .. so you have to wait at least a week before an update i'm afraid. B7 should go live 26th at the Europe.
