Hi again hope everyone doing good.I have a question or two or more about the UI skins ,btw Im enjoying the UI tweak you gave us.My question about the UI skins in general art especially the Examine window when you examine weapeons etc etc.Was wondering if it possible in the future to skin it with dark solid black glossy color? kinda like glass looking.I was thinking about that long time and havent seen anyone make one.The only UI skin that gives abit glossy shine type is fenrir's UI wood.looks kinda glossy shine.Tis just something for a future project to spice up the UI so it doesnt look dull.Black is my fav color.Well everyone have a nice day and good job on the UI Deewe

Ok I spent 2 hours messing with your idea and :

opponent vitals are over attack eye which is over player vitals. => big mess.

I might have way to solve it but right now I'm toying with new stuff...

You can already move the Autoattack eye editing the part below :

If you want to fit the Eye to your needs, the easyer way is to resize all files in Yessh\autoattack to fit your needs as I can't guess your needs and that will be faster.

Hello Holly,

nice UI layout, made me think of something, maybe I'll come out with a new feature!

With the addon, you can now :
- hide the default Quickslot bar
- move the attack eye where you want to
- move the focus/fervor bar

I can remove the circle around the portraits but :
I can't get rid of the elite glowing circle, nor move or hide the players levels

I can't :
shorten the vitals bars either.
Move the target and player names, nor hide them
move the buff and defuff icons, nor resize them

You can move the progress bar with CTRL+ \


I'll be working on an optional strait focus/fervor bar


I'm not sure yet of what i can do for the Target target icon

Also, here is a quick edited version of how my EQII was somewhat layed out, when I finished most of it.

The primary focus of this layout, is to allow you to increase the chat box to it's full 1024 horizontal size, then thin it down vertically allowing you to keep the same 'centered' appeal as in the previous screenshot/UI layout I've posted, but also retain the important bits and pieces in front of you. The color coded boxes are the same from the second screen I posted in the last reply.

I believe the only thing really different here is that the hotbars' framework window shaping has been changed, so that would have to be adjustable as well.

The only other thing I can think of that might appeal to people(beyond the obvious) in this layout idea, is that notice on the right side, above the hotbuttons, the skill que and attack icon reside. Again these would be invisible, so you could move them anywhere. Imagine though they were not there, so on each side, just above the hotbars you could set 'quest' 'journal' 'deed' etc. panel from the original default quickbar. In your Yessh UI you've deleted them(which I prefer) though some people may want to retain them. So if they were stand alone, detached, they could put one set on each side of the chat box. Nice, clean, and not in the way.

Hello Brygard and Hollywood,

I thought about cleanng the vitals of the portraits but there are a few issues :
  • We can't edit | move | hide the elite glow
  • We can't move | hide the level background

I would be able to hide the player | ennemy portrait but the others things would not fit it.

Hello Hollywood,

I uptated the Addon so now the Auto Attack eye is hidden while not in combat.

Even you can edit the SkinDefinition.xml to move it around and show it again if you like

Heres a sample MS paint to what maybe possible for elite box vital,this just to give you an idea.The eye i use is cut and past from (Daimon* credit given).Or use what default art the Lotro Ui has for the eye.Apart from that you have done quite abit to the UI and Im pleased with it.Just for the future when next time you have time.Thanks!!

Finally was able to download your add on and and its great.I just had fiddle with xml file with help of the Interface manage to set it in the middle.



Which I have to say thanks that now the interface manager can read your UI.Thank you!!
About the elite icons hmm saw some one had spike on thier vitals think its Daimon.But I was thinking you know the red glow lava thats around the elite potrait?Was wondering maybe make that glow around the vital bars since it wont be on the potrait or make the whole vital bar blinking glow?

Well yes and that's a real good suggestion, I'll check what I can do to add spikes to the elite vitals.

Even if you can provide me a pic with some examples for the spikes I could use them as basic layout.

Lol yeah some peoples are diffrent in taste.Hehe but that dont sound bad either to remove the icon as Hollywood wants.It would give me more space actually,hes idea is not bad at all.But what about the lvl box?Well I know the con colors by now to which mobs i wouldnt attack.what about the elite boss?Hmm maybe some how put spikes in outer layer of the vital bar?Is that even possible?

Hello Hollywood,

Brygard got some lovin' but I didn't forget you

For the vitals, I may have a trick. Thing is I don't know how to move the player level. So you would end with vitals and a level lost in the void. Does that sounds any good, suggestions?

For the eye I'll try something. Where do you want it by default? You'll be able to move it by yourself editing the file.

For the strait focus/fervor bar, I saw a nice one in an addon. It will be easy to implement with the Skinner's agreement

I know for the vital in the works and the champion fervor.
I'm not an artist so it takes me hours just to do a simple vital :|

You can chek the Yessh 1.4 +1 addon for removing the eye.
I just updated it so it might not be up yet.
