Fishing Log window

Description

This plugin keeps a record of all fish caught by each character and optionally the fish caught at a particular location by any character. It also provides convenient shortcuts to equip your fishing rod and fish and then switch back to your weapon.

Basic chat commands:
/fl - Display fishing proficiency.
/fl <link> - Display item details.
/fl catch - List fishing catch records.
/fl cook - List fish that can be cooked.
/fl quest - List fish that are part of a quest.
/fl trophy - List fish that are trophies.
/fll ;loc - Set the current fishing location.
/fll <loc> - List catches at <loc> fishing location.
/fll last - List catches at last fishing location.
/fll list - List catch count by fishing location.
/flq - List fishing quests.
/flq # - List fishing quest # details.
/flw - Open Fishing Log window.

NOTICE: When installing for the first time, follow the instructions in the ReadMe file to avoid problems.

It's strange that BL works and FL doesn't as they both use similar code.

Try changing line 24 in "FL_main.lua" from "Track = false" to "Track = true" and see if you get error messages.

Do you also have the same problem with your other characters?

Were you not using the Fish action in the Fishing Log window?
The plugin only looks at the "you have acquired" message when the cursor is over that action button. This is done to filter out non-fishing items.

When selecting a fishing rod to use, the default check will reject any equipment whose name doesn't end in "Fishing rod". To support non-English names, I've bypassed this check when the Shift key is held down during the selection.

English clients don't need this change.

Version 1.0 (Lotro update 41)

I changed the window buttons to blue to make it look better and balanced some positioning.

This version adds the "Barrel of fish" quest from the Hard Tack Event introduced in Lotro update 41.

Error on Plugin Load

Hi Vinny. I'm getting the following error when loading the plugin. Any idea what might be wrong?

Hi Vinny. Thanks for making this Addon. I wanted to let you know that in the .plugin file you have the <Author> as "David Down" instead of "Vinny" like your other Addons. And in the .plugincompendium file you have the <Name> as "Camp Site reference" instead of "FishingLog".

Version 0.9.1

This version now includes fishing quests. To list all the quests by #, use the command "/flq". To list the details of a particular quest, use the command "/flq #" where # is the quest number.

When setting the auto-open option in the plugin manager, it will also save the current window position and restore it when next loaded.

I also updated the ReadMe file which was incomplete and had commands from another plugin.

Don't use version 0.8 as it is missing the file number. A file number isn't assigned until the plugin is uploaded and then I have to go back and set the value in the .plugin file.

This plugin is already supported by Vinny Loader.
