Hey there - I know you manage many plugins nowadays, so firstly, thank you!

Secondly, I have the following issue with Altholic after the first time you use in after log in.

• Hide the UI
• Reshow the UI
• The last two windows opened of Altholic reappear, even if they had been closed

Also:

• Show Altholic
• Close Altholic windows
• Hide UI: the Altholic windows appear even when the UI is hidden.

The other thing that happens is the button either disappears or moves off-screen.

I love this plugin but because I take so many screenshots, I am hiding the UI a lot every session.

The only way for this not to happen is not to use the plugin in a session (i.e. relogging the character shows the button and keeps the Altholic windows closed).

Thanks for all your work. I love the plug-in. My only problem is that the scroll bar on the character screen sometimes doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, yes this is possible and easy to do..

update to the latest version 3.24....

then.

just go in the plugin folder

open with notepad the file init.lua

and follow the instruction on how to do it

do not do this with the game running, then with the datascope set on the server you will only save and load datas by server
and the addon will be available for your other server too

if you want to keep all your datas just copy all the file starting with AltHolic_ from
C:\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\<Your account Name>\AllServers\
to
C:\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\<Your account Name>\<Your Server Name>\AllCharacters\

Thank you for all the time and effort you put in to creating this plugin and adding new features. I have only just recently update to the latest version, I kept forgetting to check for updates on the Plugin Compendium for a while.

I preferred the plugin when I could see details of characters only on the server I am logged in to and data was only save per server not all linked together across all the servers. Sadly I do have some characters that have the same name and, as you say above, this does not work for same names across different servers. So I just end up with confusion about which toon is being referred to in each server when they have the same name.

The only way I feel this could be resolved is if there is a way in the future for the data saves to be server and not account based. So in the future will it be possible to have the plugin data totally separated by server as in the past or is it impossible?

For now I will only use this on my main server after deleting all data so that the only thing saved is data for that main server alone. I shall return to pen and paper records and the more limited AltWallet & AltInventory for the other servers.

Hi again, thanks for your quick fixes to the issues I reported earlier! I found another issue with the search: when I include a dash in the name, the item is not found (e.g. searching "carry-all" yields no results, but if I just search "carry" or "all" they show up properly).

It's also a bit unintuitive that hitting "Enter" after typing something into the search bar would enter a literal newline into the search. Perhaps it could instead perform the search in some default context (like "Search in all")?

I've got recently this error message on screen, it appears usually on quest completions or mob kills (not always but often I think)
...the Rings Online\Plugins\Homeopatix\AltHolic\FCT.lua:3595: attempt to perform arithmetic on field '?' (a nil value)
It's after last update I think, it didn't appear in version 3.11 (I think I had that version previously).
Is it something common or something wrong with my installation?
This happen probably every time I get experience (eg. while crafting).

there is 11 files, but maybe you did not use the options and the file was not created yet.
If you click on the name of the character in the main window, you can set a little message
and then the file will be created

Anyway thank you for the time you spent to help me sort this out, i really apreciate

Well, I must be cursed then...

I removed every file pertaining to the plugins, on every LOTRO folder, just to be extra sure. Then I downloaded the newest version (3.11), unzipped and placed it in the Plugins folder, as usual, still no joy.

So, I still don't see the slider for the epic book window :



As for the reputation, I did some test, and I still have some problems. When I register the reputation for one character, it works as intended, I get the 'maximum standing' when I put in 45000 and select the Kindred title.

However, when I log into another character, one whose reputations are not yet entered, and I check the previous character's reputation, I see this :



And when I enter the reputation for the new character and their new title, the title for every other character for that specific reputation changes to match, no matter what I entered before :



I wonder if the problem is not one of display. As in, the reputation are correctly registered in the reputation file, but, for some reason, it will display the title of the current character instead of the title of the character being looked at.

Also, you said before that there should be 11 files in the Allservers folder, but I see only ten :



Is there something missing ? Or was that a typo ?
