I've made some changes to make this plugin easier to use.

First, I changed the vocation detail to list the tiers that can be advanced by crafting instead of the highest completed tiers. This simplifies picking the right tier number # for the /cms P# command when looking for materials to advance your crafting skills.

Then I enhanced the material drop-box in the window to also list where the material can be used.

I also added buttons to list items in the shared storage for Prospecting(Metal) and Forestry (Wood). These are shortcuts for the "/cms p0" and "/cms f0" commands.

Finally, I updated the ReadMe file to be current for this version.

I only know English and do all the development by myself, so if another player provides a translation of the data file, I include it in the next release. It is up to the players that do the translations to keep them updated and provide me with the updates.

I've finally added basic support for an item window so that you can drop items on the window for quicker identification. It also adds a few buttons for simple commands to reduce typing.

Note: This doesn't add any new information. It just adds some convenience.
The command-line version of the item identification can provide more information such as which characters can craft with the item.

No plugins can access or display the contents of Carry-Alls because they are not exposed to Lua.

Yes, you'll need to translate the names. There may also be an issue with ',' vs '.' in number values.

I found this plugin useful but how to make it work on non english lotro client?
I use a french client.

I launched the /cmi command and it found only 5 materials in my inventory (zircon, agate and other sharing same name between english and french), none on my vault or shared vault.

Looking at the file, shall I replace the Mats' Name by the french name or is it more complicated than that?

This is the official non-beta release of Craft Mats. It seems to be relatively free of defects and includes all the basic features for the non-windowed version. The materials list has been reviewed and corrections made. While I expect to add a few more things that I find to be common loot drops as I play, I think I've included all the important stuff.

As noted in the updates list, it now includes an Open call for Vinny Loader so that clicking on the icon a second time won't generate an error. As there is no window to open with a second call, I just default to the "/cm" command.

When listing materials in inventory, vault, and shared storage, I found that there were times when I wanted to see all the materials and not just the ones for a single profession so I added the profession code 'a' to represent all/any profession when selecting materials. You can still add a tier number to show all materials of a given tier or use 'a0' to list everything. When using the 'a' code, the listing will append the profession codes for all professions that can use it after the item name and the tier if a filter of '0' is used.

I really love your work and plugins. But CraftMats wont load for me when I use the ingame Ikon.

I have CraftMats 0.9 installed.
I have VinnyLoader 1.1 installed
I see the Ikon of CraftMats ingame.

But when I click it I get this message:

VL: CraftMats is not updated for VL open action.

I have deleted the whole Vinny folder and reinstalled both of the plugins 2 times.

First time installing CraftMats first and then VinnyLoader. Second time the other way around. Both times with same result.

This update completes most of the planned materials. Scholar includes all dye materials even though many are rare farming crits.

Farming itself isn't included because all of the materials used can be purchased from the farming vendor any will probably be stored on a single character. Cooking is somewhat similar, with many vender materials and the rest produced by farming. I did decide to include cooking materials that can be collected in the wild as they are more likely to be in other's inventory.

I'll be reviewing the current data and waiting for feedback on mats and features before making an official 1.0 release.

As I recall, plugins don't have access to housing storage, but I'll check again because it would be a handy feature.

Update: As I suspected, Lua has no API for accessing anything stored on any type of housing and as no LOTRO developer works on it anymore, it is unlikely to in the future.

Hi! Excellent plugin idea, I love it!

Quick question though: do you cover mats also inside Housing storages? How would it react when you give storage access to kinmates or other friends?

This is the initial release of this plugin. While it is still a beta version because it doesn't yet include all crafting professions, it has enough features to be quite useful.

Be sure to read the included ReadMe file for a full description of all the features and how to use them. The commands listed in the above description are just a summary for easy reference.

Let me know what you would like to see added in the future. Window support is planned after the remaining professions are added. Note that crafting materials that you buy from vendors are not included as the focus is on harvested materials.
