Updated: Shae Onyx v3.0!
Due to a restructuring of the way I am developing my ui skins, I've decided to divide up the various "versions" that were originally all encompassed under "Shae Onyx". This will help with organization of the skin versions, as well as be a bit more easily dealt with for everyone when a change takes place. Alterations to, say, just Shae Onyx, or just Magma II, until now, required a redownload for you (and a reupload for me) of the complete package. This will allow alterations to one skin package to no longer require this...just a redownload of the skin set for which the changes apply.
Thank you for all the support! This should, hopefully, make things not only easier, but show me where people's desires most lay so that I can concentrate my efforts for them. I also wish to thank everyone for their understanding during the "growing pains" of the early development of my ui's. You all deserve a round of applause!
As always,
Enjoy!
(Oh, and if you find any problems, please let me know. Sometimes a restructure like this causes something to get missed.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Solid, clean, and stark lines; the body mainly black with silver and obsidian style edgings and raised frame. Finer points of the panels are done in red with gold highlights.
Other options for mainbar include "Magma" red highlights.
This package includes versions of the mainbars both with and without Fervour/Focus pips. I did this to take the guesswork and trudgery of logging in and out to get the combat indicators centered and aligned out of setting up the bars. NFP is for those classes that don't use Fervour/Focus.
Nearly every game graphic that can be skinned has been skinned in this ui.
As always, if you find any bugs or problems, please let me know.
Enjoy!
To modify the position of the chosen bar, first open up the SkinDefinition.xml file in the directory containing the skin you have chosen to use.
Look for a line near the beginning of the file that reads similar to this:
Code:
<Element ID="ToolbarField" X="0" Y="910" Width="1280" Height="114" Detach="1">
Note the word "ToolbarField" in the line...this is the only element you will need to adjust.
The X= and Y= pair of numbers set the vertical and horizontal position of the top left corner of the mainbar on your screen.
In order to change the position of the bar to, for example, the lower right corner of your screen, you would subtract the width= number from the horizontal resolution of your display. This will give you the value of X= to use. Then subtract the height= value from your vertical resolution to give you the Y= value.
Save the file, then log in, load up the ui in the Custom UI section of options, then log completely out of the game and back in. Your bar should be at the right position for your screen. There are many options for bar placement, so an explanation for all possibilities is too lengthy for this area.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I'll do what I can to help.

Version History:
~Shae Onyx 2.5 - More Magma optional bars!~
With v2.5, I've released another pair of bars, both with and without pips. There's a pure Magma partial width bar that will hold 4 total hotbars, and a "Mini Magma" for those who like the style but are looking for a more minimalistic bar.
As always, just unzip the whole package into your Lord of the Rings Online folder inside MyDocuments to install the whole package right over your existing one.
~Shae Onyx 2.0 - Now with Onyx Magma optional bars!~
I've finally completed a pair of optional bars, both normal and "NFP" versions. This is a complete package, so just overwrite your existing ShaeOnyx installs. If you've edited your SkinDefinition.xml "ToolbarField" Line, You should save it out. so that you'll have a starting point for the new bars, or so you'll have that line if you decide to stick with the 1.0b bars.
New in 2.0 for the Magma Bars:
- Magma and Magma NFP Bar graphics
- Combat indicator moved to the far left, leaving interface buttons nearer "the action"
- Added Bag buttons under menu buttons
- Shorter "footprint" to help reduce screen clutter
I hope you all Enjoy the update!
~Shae Onyx v1.0b~
Made some image repairs, esp missing vendor repair and stablemaster highlight images. So much for tonight's playtime! lol
If you've made no edits to the SkinDefinition.xml file, you should be able to unzip this right over your existing install without problems. If you've made edits to your SkinDefinition.xml file, you might want to port out the edits to replace in the new SkinDefinition.xml(s) before unzipping v1.0b into your LotRO documents folder.
