disabling elements of the UI
 

Is it possible to disable quest notifications, Audio notifications of chat, the map?

Can I resize these elements to 0? Can I further decrease the size of hot keys and buttons in general?

I appreciate any help that can be offered.

as far as I know no.
however you can resize the button bars with in-game scalers found in the options>ui settings.

edit: meh sorry just realized this was on DDO section and not Lotro. might apply to DDO too though
