running plugins with my docs on a domain server

hey all , i am writing this on behalf of a kin member who has just decided to try out some plugins.

problem is , it turns out they wont save the settings cause the plugin folder is not on the gaming machine but on a server.

changes within the game options themselves save and apply correctly though.

does anyone know of a way to make this work that the plugins save their settings on the domain servers mydoc path?

You might try wrapping the launcher app in a batch script that sets userprofile environment variable to where your profile info is stored. Ensure the server has read/write permissionn to where ever you point it at.

HOMEDRIVE=C:
HOMEPATH=\Users\Administrator
USERPROFILE=C:\Users\Administrator

I discovered the same problem when plugins first went live. I just login with a local account for playing Lotro and use the domain account for everything else.

I had the exact same problem and solved it by manually creating the folder "The Lord of the Rings Online" in My Documents. The problem seems to be for the game to create the folder. Once it's there it can create needed subfolders just fine.
