Chat boxes and other size problems
 

I'm trying to switch resolutions to reduce lag. 800x600 is perfectly fine, despite the sometimes blurry or choppy-looking small text, but the screeen still looks and feels cluttered at times. Other things (like things that aren't constantly showing) stay the same large size despite me shrinking the UI, and the chatbox also stays the same size.

Is it possible to fix this some how?

I wonder why games sometimes look and feel different in a video?

Anyways, thanks! I had a feeling there was some trick to it that I didn't know. But how do I shrink it like the rest of the interface?

Is it possible to shrink the text? And is it possible to shrink things that only appear on screen at certain times? Like a unit icon.

Also, what UI setup or UI download do you recommend for more screen space and immersion?

Now some element's you can resize them,the place your looking for is ingame option under Ui settings and at near end of the list you will see a subjact something called Ui scale.

Thats where you can scale some ui.

I thought I already changed the scalings, but I'll look again.

As for the interfaces you linked me, they're alright, but not the style I'm looking for. Especially for a game like this. Though, I've found some other nice looking ones called "JappMe".
