A anoying issue
Hello! Sorry if this is a double post but i couldnt find the answer anywhere.
I have a problem. I cant seem to get the background transparent =/ It get black or white even if i have a transparent tga in photoshop.... Thx for any help i get Cheers! |
Did you remember to make an alpha layer? Most common reason transparencies don't work. Alpha layer is the additional layer below the RGB layers that basically does a black/white opposite of what you want to be seen on the RGB layers.

Dont follow you there.... I made a transparent layer then the additional layer with the grafics i want. sry for being slow hehe
Im use to do gif images when it comes to transparent pictures ... never worked with tga images before... |

TGA files should only have one layer, but four channels. The channels are red, blue, green and alpha. Someone can correct me, but the black level of the alpha channel, determines how transparent your TGA file is. I believe pure white is completely opaque, and pure black is completely transparent. |
Yeah channels, that's what I meant. I always confuse the terminology between layers and channels.

Thx! Now it works like a charm.
Cheers! |
