Set a main name to an alt

Similar to what Cairenn mentioned on her post below, but in the chat channel itself. I would like to be able to set a main character name that will show whenever one of their toons make a comment in chat, like Felgerkaren (Felgercarb). In a perfect world, we could query their account and autofill this, but that probably isn't feasible. I would be happy to be able to manually set a main name from the chat menu, with like a right-click option. The note would also be nice. Some basic categories on the notes might be good too, to pigeonhole some common info, like skill, experience, reliability, maturity, profanity, etc.

15. Kinship/Friendship notes. Let us add notes to various UI elements. Kinship_member_05 is Kinship_member_02's alt. Friend_001 is actually [Tom] your rl friend from [somewhere], friend_002 is in [this timezone] and can only play at [this] time.

I remember this one from Wow. Would definitely be useful for those of us who are alt-happy, and don't follow a convetion ;). At present, which the exception of being able to make Quickbar Shorcuts on the fly, I do not believe the beta-api lets us interact with the chat system sufficiently enough to provide this capability. We can however, query your player info (if you log those characters in), and store that data for later reuse. This could let the addon build a list of your characters. Alt Inventory shows a good example of this.
