Hello =)

I have a problem/question. I only can read the font in LoTRO very hard and also I dont think that this is a nice font. So is there a way to change it? How to change it?

I heared that there is a way to change it to Arial. Thats also my favorit. So how to do that?

As far as I can tell there is no way to change the font type or size.

Only thing you can do is to change the size of the chat messages from the options.

As I can see here, you can choose between fonts.

Those are for Lua plugins.

I don't pretend I understand much about the plugins but I think there is no way to convert all the quest/quest log etc into plugins as that would be the only way to change the font. Someone who knows more about Lua can probably give you a more specific answer what this would require. Stock UI is what it is :/

You can change the size of the "floating" labels that appear in game. In the Options control panel (press Ctrl+O to open), go to the UI settings tab and there is a slider control for "Floating Text Size".

You can also resize many of the individual UI display panels which will also increase/decrease the font for those panels. At the bottom of the UI Settings tab of the Options control panel, there are sliders for the panels that can be resized. You may have to play with them a bit since the scaling method used can cause bluring at many of the scaling values.

I'm not aware of any way to change the font face, but there are a lot of options in the UserPreferences.ini file that can not be modified in-game through the UI, so it's possible that there could be an undocumented setting that can be modified there to change the font face.

for all intents and purposes Lua plugins only allow the creation of new UI elements, and cannot make changes to existing (default) elements.

Quick question for my own reference...Would it be possible to create a UI element that mimics ye olde character screen? The new setup makes the game very hard to play for me, and I've been on the lookout for the game allowing changes to the base UI, but if I could set up something like the old tabbed system I'd be able to play again!
