I hope I'm missing something stupid, but none of my plug-ins save their settings upon log-out/log-in. I spend a bunch of time reconfiguring the travel window and BuffBars then if I unload those plugins or log out and re-enable the plugs they reset to their default settings/locations. Kinda makes them pointless if I have to go through a bunch of reconfiguration each time.

Am I missing something? is this operating as expected?

Hi

I must be doing something terribly wrong but no matter what UI I try that button keeps up (the one near the bags)

I have tried DaimonUI normal and purple (1680 res) but store button still there.

Durins Folk revisited does change it but what I really wanted was something that make it dissapear or completly blend it with the interface.

If its a simple thing and anyone is willing to explain it to me I will do it myself.

I also have read someplace else that the button can be turn off from the game if you are a VIP, I have a LTA and honestly cannot find that option anywhere.

Please help that thing is seriously getting on my nerves.

Thank you

I'm Sorry for the title, but I couldn't come op with anything better.

I have a question about how the UI of a Lua plug-in looks in-game. Let me explain myself a bit better. If you took a look at the Travel Window plug-in, you see it has a different UI then the standard Lotro UI.

My question is, is this because a.) it's designed like this? b.) is D.H1cks using another UI then the standard one and is this represented in the plug-in?

Is a plug-in depended on the UI you're using or do you need to create your own UI for it?

Since today is the launch of the Head Start of The Lord of the Rings Online™ Volume III: Allies of The King, Book 2: The Ride of the Grey Company (which includes Lua scripting! Yay!), and the new LOTRO Free-to-Play option it means we can finally open up the new forum and download categories for your use.

The new forum is under the Developer Discussions section of the forums, entitled Lua Programming Help. We have added download categories for Bags, Bank & Inventory, each of the Individual Classes, Crafting, Creep Play, Maps, coordinates & compasses and RolePlay & Music. We are more than happy to add other download categories as necessary, we just felt that those would be a good start along with the previously existing categories.

We are really really excited to see Lua scripting going live and can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

[Edit] After feedback from you guys, we've created another new download category under the Stand-Alone section which contains all of the previously existing stand-alone Graphical Modifications (Skins). ~Cairenn

I've been trying to installed this UI mod called Durin Folk 1.8, and the problem that I am having is that I don't use the UI Setting folder on the option's list. I've exited out completely, even the launcher that pop's up after I exit out of the game, relaunched the game, and checked back to options and still it is not visible.

Does any of these UI mods works with the F2P beta? If so, why is it not working for me?

In my search to find a skin that will simply remove all the art, the menu buttons and the bag buttons from the main toolbar (and finding how impossible to find an updated one that does this is) I stumbled across the Yessh UI skin. It accomplishes what I would like to look at when in game without moving my bar somewhere I don't want it with one minor annoyance: The Eye/auto-attack button.

I am trying to find out how I can remove said eye from the UI. I'm not a skinner, I know othing about skin definitions, and really don't want to be a skinner which is why I was looking for something that was already done... however I could delve far enough into it if someone could simply tell me what I need to edit to get rid of this eye.

On the other hand, if someone had an updated, working version of a minimalist hotkeys only version of the main toolbar, I'd love to know where it's at!

Thanks in advance!
