chat background and right click menu background help

hi
i would like to know how to make the chat box transparent black
not only the box where u write using this for example:

<Mapping ArtAssetID="chat_back" FileName="..\General\overlay.tga"></Mapping>
<Mapping ArtAssetID="chat_entry_focussed" FileName="..\General\overlay.tga"></Mapping>

the same for the right click menu when u click over a player or click over ur vitals icon.

Hi.

You can set the chat panel transparent from the game menu, chat options if my memory serves me right.

That will still leave the tabs seen, can't remember the artassets id's for them but they are doable.

I'm not sure as I don't have the client open but I think you can make the right click menus transparent. If you can that will probably make all the panels transparent however as they most likely share the same artasset id.

about the right click menu i'm almost sure it's not about the panels

i had them transparent in a previous version of my skin, but with the new 1 i wasn't able to make it as be4

btw i will continue to work on it and i will let u know

Hello,

The right-click menu background is:
<Mapping ArtAssetID="black_translucent" FileName="..\panel\large_panel_bg.tga" />

It will effect other panels' backgrounds as well, but won't be a huge problem if you go pure transparent. Concern should be the illegible content of these transparent menus.

as i can see it affect the vitals power and morale background and some other panels
