What was the BG plugin?
The next question would be: why?
Though my mains are on the European servers and couldn't test it out, I would have been very interested in such a plugin once (if ever) F2P comes out there.
MrJackdaw: Depending on the buffs you got in the Barad Guldur instance (purple, yellow or blue eye), your screen got a glow of that color: when you had a purple eye, your screen got purpleish.
Maybe something to republish / remake?

The author said he wanted to do some more thinking about it/play around with it a bit more before re-releasing it.

That is awesome, I really hope he does.
I just thought that it was something turbine stepped in on, as the thread was deleted on the lotro forums too. Thankfully the author wants to work on it before releasing a raw ver.

I would have thought as well. Boss mods are a bit grey area I would think but at least for now there's no red light for this as far as I know :)

Well in the off chance the author of the BG mod comes across this thread, I'll throw my name in the testing hat, if you have the need for one.

From the author on the lotro forums:

"removed
I wrote this plugin as a proof of concept for testing lotro lua capabilities and cross plugin compatibility. However after careful consideration I have decided not to publish and maintain it going forward. Many apologies."
