Description
WardenEase was originally developed by Deusdictum but has since stopped updating it, and has graciously allowed others to pick up where it was left off.

Per the original information:

WardenEase creates three bars that hold all of your gambits and another bar with quickslots. When you click on a gambit from one of the three bars, the quickslots are filled with the gambit building skills needed to execute the gambit. Simply click the skills in order to execute it. The gambit will remain for you to execute it again, or you can select another gambit.

Features:
  • Automatically adds new gambits and quickslots as you level and learn new skills. This should work indefinitely even if if new gambits are added because it pulls gambit information directly from the game.
    Special Note: Because it pulls the information from the game, it's a bit delayed due to the fact that when you learn a new skill there's no events fired (events are only fired when you level up). You'll have to wait until you level again before it updates properly, or you can use /we2 refresh, or unload and reload the plugin for it to update.
    Special Note: Because "Trained Skills" are skills you have trained whether you can actually use them or not, the plugin will always list all Fast Builder skills even if you can't use some of them.
  • Color codes for correct building sequences will display behind the builders.
    Initially, the color will be WHITE behind them, meaning it is waiting for a builder to be used. GREEN means you are building the gambit correctly, and RED means there is one or more incorrect builders present in the sequence. BLACK means the gambit builder location is not used.
    The actual gambit skill will have WHITE/GREEN/RED behind it too, WHITE meaning that the gambit sequence is being built, but not finished yet, and the sequence doesn't include any incorrect builders; GREEN means the gambit is ready to be used (special note: if you have other builders after the gambit sequence that changes the gambit, the gambit will still display GREEN); and RED means that there is an incorrect builder present.
    Please see the side pictures for better clarification.
  • Key overlays. These display the corresponding key you need to use in order to execute the builder or gambit.
    Currently, you can only set the overlays to 1 through 4, and the defaults are what most Wardens use: 1-Spear, 2-Shield, 3-Fist, 4-Gambit.
    You can change these numbers by using the menu button.
    You can turn on/off this feature using the menu as well.
  • Customize the gambit bars.
    You can now hide different gambits you don't care to see by right clicking on the gambit, and then selecting hide from the drop down menu.
    You can show hidden gambits by right clicking any gambit on the bar, and selecting the "Show...<gambit name>" option, or the "Show All" option at the bottom. Note that you can't hide ALL gambits on one bar (use the main menu to hide the entire bar).
  • Customize the main WE2 window.
    You can switch whether the fast builders display above or below the builder and gambit skills by using the main menu button.
    You can switch where the Fast Builder skills are location in the 3x3 grid by right clicking on one of the Fast Builders and selecting which one you want in that spot. It will swap the one you selected and the one that was originally in that spot. Special Note: When switching the Fast Builders from above to below and vice versa, they get reversed, so set the fast builder location between setting where you want each individual one to be).
  • Use layout mode (CTRL + \) to move the UI around and rotate the gambit bars.
  • One gambit bar for each type of gambit (Spear, Fist, Shield)
    Right-click the down arrow in the main gambit window to hide / show individual gambit bars.
  • Adds slash commands to populate the main WardenEase2 window. E.g. "/we2 Brink Of Victory" will populate the WardenEase2 window with the "Brink of Victory" gambit sequence. These slash commands can be used in aliases / shortcuts and placed in any quickslot! You do not even have to type the full name in, for example "/we2 deft" will display Deft Strike or "/we2 conv" will display Conviction. When using partial names, please use at least three characters.
  • Tooltips for Fist, Shield, and Spear gambits will display when you hover over them.
    I cannot directly get the in-game tooltip, so I have created a simple workaround, which is I use an in-game screenshot of the tooltip and manually enter it into the plugin.
    Because of this, the tooltips will NOT display damage numbers, but will instead display percents of main-hand or ranged weapon. For example, Celebration of Skill displays 123.1% of Main-hand + bonus damage. Certain gambits deal a set amount of damage based on level; in those cases you will see the number for a level 75 Warden.
    Also, when I created these tooltips I created them with no legacy or trait bonuses, so they should be as basic as possible, but there is always some chance that a tooltip will not have the exact correct information for your character.
    You can turn off Tooltips by clicking the down arrow and selecting the "Hide Descriptions."
    Please let me know of any problems or missing tooltips.
  • Should now properly work with European clients.
  • No dependencies.

Future Plans:
  • Continue working on Tooltips. Perhaps find a more efficient way to display them. Any suggestions?
  • Allow users to customize a special bar for whatever gambits the user wants.
  • Add more customization to the numbers on the quickslot boxes, so that users will know which key (defaults 1-4) to press to execute a certain builder or gambit. Perhaps this can be extended to the Gambits bars themselves if the user is using aliases to set the Gambits.
  • Allow more customization of the layout of the Fast Builders and Recovery Skills, perhaps letting them be all on one line or not shown at all if desired.
  • Have color coding and/or numbering (similar to the builders) for the Fast Builders so if you wish to create a gambit faster you know which Fast Builders to use.

Known Issues:
  • API LIMITATION: The API does not allow you to determine whether the client is in layout mode (CTRL + \) or not. If you load the plugin in layout mode, turn layout mode off and reload the plugin.
  • Gambits cannot be placed into a control or a quickslot, so I cannot get the tooltips for them that way, so you will not see your specific gambits, but will see screenshot versions of a lvl 75 Wardens gambits with no weapons or traits. The Gambit quickslot in the main window will, however, show you the correct tooltips for your Warden.
  • Skills might be off if you have just trained a new skill or gambit and have not leveled up afterwards, used /we2 refresh, or unload/reloaded the plugin. If you have trained a gambit and want it to show up on your gambit bars, please use /we2 refresh or unload and then reload the plugin.

  • Fixed an issue where the number of Fast Builders might be smaller than expected, causing the window to be larger than it should be. Or not since it was impossible to test this bug but the code was wrong. Who knows.

  • When updating from a pre2.1 version, your settings will be wiped and you'll have to redo your settings. This is to make your settings compatible with the VindarPatch and other upgrades I did.

If you are talking about the gambits themselves, this is a good idea, one I will look into. If you're talking about the gambit builders when you are building a gambit, then the highlighting feature of WE2 already does this. When the color behind a builder is white, it means you need to enter that builder to continue the sequence. If it's green, it means the builder is already in place and you should move to the next one. If it's red, it means you used an incorrect builder. The gambit button itself also has the highlighting, with white meaning the sequence isn't fully built yet, green meaning the gambit is good to go, and red meaning the gambit is built wrong.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. If you want WE2 to replace the Turbine quickslots then that's not really 100% possible, as the API doesn't really allow it. You can place the WE2 window over the quickslots and then use a custom UI to hide the normal Turbine quickslots, but that's about as good as that will get right now.

I hope to add more customizations of the layout of the fast builders and recovery skills in the future, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to that.

I never used the Old version but with the changes you made it works great.

A few Ideas

Some how mark or Highlight the one you have selected so you know what one your on.

A button to click that would cause the Bar to Operate like the Normal one. I would like to replace it with yours. Or show the Builders your Hitting even if they are not right.

Be able to lay out the builders in something other then a 3x3 Grid. I use 1 - 3 for the Basic Builders, Ctrl 1-3 for the Doubles and Alt 1-6 For the Masteries. I have a Ctrl and an Alt button on my Mouse. I have ran with alot of Wardens and can Normaly Build Gambvits faster then anyone around.

i am lvl 53 and the gambit mod is not working properly.
in the gambit builder there is no 3 's anymore it made them 4's now and the execute is still button 4 as well. I have tried to redownload  and even tried deleting mod and downloading again.  Hope this helps with improving this mod.

What's happened is you changed the number for the Fist gambit builders. You do this by selecting it in the drop down menu. When you select it it goes to the next number, however it doesn't change other builders/gambit to another number, which means you can have all the numbers the same. To fix it, just select Fist from the drop down menu again (which will change it to 1) then select it two more times and it'll revert it back to 3. You can also turn off the key overlay feature in the drop down menu if you decide you do not need those guides.

i am lvl 53 and the gambit mod is not working properly.

Seems to be a problem with LPC then, no easy fix on my end. Hopefully the next time I upload a patch or update (which shouldn't be for a while now), it'll work again for you. Please let me know if you have any more suggestions or problems! Enjoy!

I have now downloaded and installed the plugin from lotrointerface.

No idea why there were problems with LPC ... hope it works normally again next time. The error usually is sitting in front of the computer.

Hmm, I'm not sure why that's happening, it works on my LPC. Have you tried updating it again? It's possible the file was still being approved while you were trying to download it, which might cause that error. Otherwise I'm not sure.

Whenever I try to install the update, a small window appears with the following text ...

newst update fixes a lot but i got spam of numbers in my chatlog. i forgot to save it for log. but its kinda:

Hmmm, I was under the impression the fix I added should address this. It is possible that your old settings can no longer work, and you'll have to manually delete them. To do that, you'll have to go to the folder where the Lord of the Rings Online files are (where in-game pictures are saved), then follow the path that the game outputs (...gs Online/PluginData/xxxxxx/[DE] Vanyar/xxxxx/) and then delete the WardenEase.plugindata file. You will unfortunately lose all of your saved data, which means you'll have to put the windows back to where you like them. Hopefully then it will no longer be a problem. If you have already deleted your data and the bug occurred again, then I obviously did something wrong with my fix, and I'll probably have to get some help from another plugin developer.

I will also try to add a fix so that in the event your settings become corrupted, it will still load.

You are actually in luck, I was able to get a build ready that has this feature in it (the customizable bar is not included, but you can now customize the 3 bars to hide gambits you don't care about). It also has colors for the gambits to let you know if you entered the wrong builder for the gambit you are making. I hope to have tested it and sent out by the end of the week.
