Special Note: The version of this patch will match whatever version of Bevy o' Bars you must have installed to work properly. If a newer version of Bevy o Bars is out, please do not install this patch as it may have less than desirable results. I usually have updated patches a week after Bevy's patches come out.
This is a patch for the plugin Bevy o' Bars, created by MrJackdaw. Please download that plugin FIRST before downloading and installing this one. All credit goes to MrJackdaw for creating the initial plugin, and many thanks to him for creating such a wonderful and useful tool!
This patch fixes the tooltip problem that causes tooltips to not update (especially when switching stances).
This problem occurs when skills change (normally) due to stance changes (such as many champion skills when switching from Fervour to Ardour or Glory). The skill tooltip fails to update properly to show changes to the skill. This patch addresses that problem.
Minstrels, hunters, guardians, champions and wardens, and burgs will now all show the correct tooltip for a skill. Unfortunately for captains and RKs, they have no stance, and thus have no way to update their tooltips on the fly, which for RKs especially, occurs every time you use a different skill type (as they have multiple skills that change based on whether the last attack was fire, lightening, frost, etc), and captains "Fellowship Brothers" skills change too based on which one the captain is using.
Special note: Burglar stance change events are not firing correctly except for the Mischief stance. This is not a big problem because I don't think any skills change based on stance (most only change based on traits, which you can use the UI lock/unlock to update the tooltips).
If you unlock/lock your UI, the skills will update. This is useful for captains to see updated skill tooltips for their fellowship brother skills. But it also allows LMs and other classes to update tooltips after traiting.
When wardens build gambits, the tooltip for the Gambit Default button would not update, nor would the Battle Memory skill. Now they will (with less lag than before)!
All active AddCallbacks will be removed when the plugin unloads.
To install this patch, unzip the file INSIDE of the JackdawPlugins\Bevy2 folder. It must overwrite three files (class.lua, main.lua, and function.lua). Any questions or problems please let me know.
