Description
CookingRef contains a list of all known Cooking recipes, ingredients and related cooking items. It can be used to find the ingredients to make any cooked item and what cooking recipes an item can be used in. You can also search for recipes matching a partial name. The source for ingredients and recipes is shown, such as Expert Farmer or Loot.

There are commands to find the best tools and cooking scrolls for your level to maximize your critical success chance. You can check your known cooking recipes on one or more characters and then use CR on alts to see if a new recipe is needed by your cook(s) or if a given cooked item can be crafted by you. If a recipe requires a facility, you can use the "Find nearest" button to locate the closest one.

There is also a window to search through all the cooking recipe scrolls to find ones that haven't been learned yet. The selections can be filtered by cooking tier and the source of the recipe scroll. There is another window to find the best food for the selected stat buf for your level.

Finally, it can build a shopping list of ingredients that you will need to produce a given number of an item, taking into consideration ingredients that you already have in your inventory and optionally, ingredients in your vault.

Basic commands:
/cr show (or /crw) (Opens the CookingRef window)
/cr <link> (Displays the linked item in the CookingRef window)
/cr <name> (Use the exact name instead of a link)
/cr check (Builds a list of known recipes for displaying cook's name)
/cr cooks (Shows known cooks and cooking tier)
/cr quest (Displays known cooking quests)
/cr tool (Finds the best cooking tools for your current level)
/cr scroll (Finds the best cooking scroll for your current level)
/crc <tier #> (Displays recipe craft xp cost for the tier)
/crf <text> (Finds all the cooking items containing <text>)
/crr (Opens the Recipe Find window)
/crs (Opens the Food Stats window)

Check the ReadMe file for a full description of commands and how to use the window buttons. *** Read the install instructions ***

Version 1.0

I originally started this as comprehensive crafting plugin, but the amount of data entry was overwhelming. Figuring out everything you need to collect to cook things that have other cooked things as components has always been a pain and figuring out what to do with excess ingredients can be time confusing as well, so I decided to start with just a cooking reference.

I've been working on this plugin for months; mostly gathering all the data. Getting the last few item IDs took hours of grinding for rep so that I could buy the final recipes that I didn't have yet.

One of the things I'd like to add in future versions is the ability to find foods that provide certain benefits for a given level of player. I'm also interested in hearing from users what other features would be useful to add.

PS. Although I've done extensive testing, you may still run into problems that I haven't found. Please report any errors with details on how to reproduce the problem.

FYI, version 1.1 in progress

I'm working on the next update, which should be ready this weekend. The main feature will build a list of recipes that you don't yet know. You will then be able to look through them to see where to get them and if you meet the requirements for learning them. There are filters to select categories.

Its on my to-do list. It depends how motivated I get to do programming vs. playing games.

Exclamation Version 1.1

Here is the promised update that allows you to search for recipes that you don't know yet. I changed the main window font to improve the look. I fixed some minor typos (like incorrect facility type) and changed some of the category descriptions to make them more informative.

I also fixed the directory paths in the common folder. This may have caused problems in loading the plugin if you didn't already have one of my other plugins installed.

Version 1.2

I got inspired and decided to add a shopping list feature!

This is for when you want to produce a batch of some item. You specify how many you want to make and it will build a list of what you will need to craft it, utilizing ingredients that you already have in your inventory and even in your vault, if you have it open.

I also noticed that non-guild recipes that produce multiple items weren't properly displaying the quantity produced, so I fixed that too.

If there are any other features you like to see, let me know and I'll consider adding them.

PS. I'm already thinking of adding a feature to find recipes based on the bufs they produce, but this will take a LOT more data entry to implement, so it won't be happening any time soon.

I'll need the specific error message details to be able to tell what the problem is.
