BusyBee helps keep track of the inventory items you can turn in
for tasks - including MonsterPlay(PvP) items.

The items are displayed in a seperate window with a number of
sorting and filtering options, including:
* Filter by level
* Filter by number of items
* Group items by Name, Region or Faction

Extract the "BusyBee" folder to your users:
"Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins\BoskoPlugins\BusyBee"

Plugins can then be loaded / unloaded via the plugin manager,
either in the character selection screen or in the game
(menu => system (do not press, hold only mouse over) => extensions)
The window appears at the top in the middle and is very transparent,
so you can easily see it ;-)

Commands in the chat window:
/bzb help - Help (English)
/bzb show - Show the window
/bzb hide - Hide the window
/bzb toggle - toggle between show / hide
/bzb opacity N - Window transparency N (0 <N <= 1)
/bzb sort - Move all objects to the bottom of the pockets
/bzb junk - Show items without a call
/bzb refresh - Reload items from inventory
/bzb monster - List PvP task items
/bzb options - Show options settings
/bzb initialVisibility [true/false] - Set startup visibility to true or false

Zee german?

I just tried to set BusyBee to german with the included german lua item file, and it doens't work due to the fact that the file differs so greatly from the required form (taking the english one as reference)
  • The required amount is labeled 'quantity' and not 'qty' in the list, results in an error
  • There is a 'lvlmin' and 'lvlmax', but the script requires just one 'lvl' field
  • items are split with 'name' and 'prefix', script only parses the 'name' and thereby makes very different items the same (in rare cases where an item wothout prefix exists) or can't find an item (when the prefix is required)
  • Some items have the wrong german name, 'Bent Metal Mace' becomes 'Stahl-Streitkolben', 'Verbogener', the prefix-issue aside, it's 'Verbogener Metall-Streitkolben'
  • ... and that's when I gave up on it

Now chances are this was made with a different version of BusyBee in mind, actually using these fields, be it older or newer, and the german translation might have changed (curse the creators (Turbine?) for not using numeric item ids in the first place making it all so complicated for mod authors), but still, it is not usable with current 1.3.16 at all.

I imported the excel file to SQL and wrote an export function to make things work, just to realize things end at level 75 there.
Anybody got more complete data?

Making the background opaque is trivial. Changing the font size is more involved, because there are multiple different headings, and it affects button sizes, window layout, etc.

To make the background opaque, you can use your favorite text file editor (e.g. Notepad++) to edit the file BusyBeeWindow.lua. At line 117 in the file, you will find
local WindowColorParams = {base = 40.0, low = -8, high = 20, R = 0.0, G = 0.0, B = 0.0 };
You just need to change the high value to 40:
local WindowColorParams = {base = 40.0, low = -8, high = 40, R = 0.0, G = 0.0, B = 0.0 };

Love this plugin and use it religiously but was hoping somebody could help me with some configuration issues.

Due to some vision problems I'm hoping to be able to make the background fully opaque and/or the font size larger. There doesn't appear to be any command line option to do either of these things that I can see.

Is there anyway I can edit the file easily to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mordor & Mirkwood

Do you plan to add Mordor and Mirkwood to this updated version? Or, is there somewhere I can send those additional tasks to get updated? It's only 9 lines. :-D
