I have a few suggestions I would like to make, and I apologize if someone beat me to it already.
1) Is it possible to do what you did with the creep maps for hunter/warden travel skills?
2) Instead of only a mouse-over, would it be possible to left-click once to have the name & coordinates of annotations, npcs, etc. stay expanded? Multiple open at once?
3) I would like to second what Jethpriel suggested. More icons are needed. Circles, squares, triangles, treasure catches, etc. With all the flag icons, things tend to get lost. Thank you for trying to make it happen in the next update.

Thank you so much. I am a huge fan of this plugin.
Hi, thanks for the comments and suggestions.

1) I have considered trying to add the Freep travel skills, including hunter/warden and "return to" skills. The biggest hurdle initially was knowing which skills players had, but when Turbine finally exposed skills to Lua the problem was more of an issue of knowing all of the travel skills and locations. At some point I will probably use lotro-wiki or some such source to get all of the needed data but it keeps getting demoted on the ToDo list due to the developer being easily distract... ooh! a shiny...

2) Actually, left clicking on annotations has always brought up a window with the name, location and detailed description. A "push pin" feature was added in version 1.28 in the top left corner of the description window to allow the description window to stay open when the map is closed. There is not currently any plan for multiple simultaneous windows (the pop-up design would have to be totally reworked).

3) Additional icons have a fairly major impact, particularly due to the filtering code (additional filters would eventually add a tiny performance impact but it is really the development overhead that is a problem). For specialty items, it might be better to consider creating an Overlay (especially since Overlays are displayed on top of regular annotations so they don't get lost in the clutter). If you have any specific requests for classes of items that you feel would be good candidates for special icons or Overlays, let me know. Overlays can be created in a matter of minutes and are fairly easy to maintain - instructions on how to create an Overlay are at the bottom of the readme.txt file with the plugin. If you create any Overlays that you feel would be useful to others and want them included in the plugin, just let me know and I will tell you how to submit them. You would get to name the Overlays (the name that shows in the Overlay Selection window) so that you would receive credit for them. Unfortunately, the floating Legend window for Whiteberry's Overlays uses custom code which isn't supported for other overlays at this time (it's on the ToDo list).

I've toyed with the idea, but unfortunately, adding another icon is a lot more than just creating the icon, it affects a lot of code, particularly the map filters as well as existing data. That doesn't mean it won't happen, just that it won't happen until I have a significant chunk of time (and there's other things higher on the ToDo list).

EDIT: Well, it looks like it might make it into the next update...

The legend for Berry's Deeds is a floating panel that you can move by simply dragging it with the mouse and the position should be saved even if you change maps or reload the plugin. Is it possible that you accidentally switched to "Full Screen Windowed" and not "Full Screen"?

There is a bug in Turbine's implementation of the Full Screen Windowed mode that reports the wrong screen size to plugins and can cause all sorts of issues. There is a workaround if you do wish to play in Full Screen Windowed mode. First, change to Full Screen Mode, pick the same resolution as your desktop, save your settings and then switch to Full Screen Windowed mode, save your settings and restart the client so that plugins will get the correct display size.
Thank you very much for the screen res solution. I thought I had lost the ability to use your incredibly useful plugin. I was also unaware that the legend was draggable. Very nice.

Thank you also for maintaining and updating it. So many authors have left or lost interest in their projects. Please keep up the great work.

I've tried completely uninstalling MoorMap by deleting all plugin data about it. But when I reinstall it, the problem persists. I am currently running LOTRO in Full Screen mode. The only significant change is that I've installed MrJackDaw's Bevy 'o Bars plugin. Could there be some unintended incompatibility issues?

No problem. I changed my mind and added an extra line instead of overwriting the other as I'm not sure if 'Sage's Lockbox' is still a thing. i.e.:
Code:
table.insert(nodeTier,{"Sage's Lockbox",45,6,0});
table.insert(nodeTier,{"Sage's Locker",45,6,0});
Also noticed that 'Pile of Heavy Ilex Wood' is now 'Heavy Pile of Ilex Wood' @ line #574. I'll post any others as I find them.

Great plugin. My scholar would have quit if not for this :-)

Scholar Node: Sage's Lockbox -> Sage's Locker

Hi,

Having only recently managed to get to Moria, I noticed that the Scholar Nodes for 'Sage's Locker' were not showing up. Duplicating the line in file 'Main.lua' line #583 and adding with the label 'Sage's Locker' has them showing up as they should.

Great plugin. My scholar would have quit if not for this :-)

Actually... I just noticed that Resource Nodes above Tier 6 seem to be all missing. Unless there is something I'm not seeing elsewhere in the code?

Re: getting an error on load

UncleJed, I sent you a PM on this forum with instructions on how to email me your MoorMap settings and configuration files so that I can try to track down the cause of your loading issue.

EDIT:
Glad to hear it got sorted out - FWIW, I sent you an email reply with a possible explanation of your unusual circumstances.

Any possibility that could causing issues? And if I wanted to move the plugins folder to the same drive as the game, is that something I could do to test? I'll go check the options section in game as well to see what possibilities there are.

Thanks a million!

Thank you for noting the drive configuration but I do not believe that is the cause of this issue. Your drive setup should be fine - the game can be (and often is) installed on an SSD for performance and the plugins installed on a different drive. The issue seems to be either a caching issue with the Documents folder or a folder permissions issue. Since the plugin has installed and functioned fine for hundreds of other users, the new variable seems to be Windows 10. I don't know if anyone else has successfully installed this plugin on a Windows 10 machine. Unfortunately I don't have any Windows 10 machines to test this on so I am having to research possible causes through third parties. I will be unavailable for testing due to RL issues until Monday but I should have some test cases and other questions for you by then.
Again, thank you very much! No worries on timing. I've been playing without it for 3 years already. lol. Take care of RL! :-)
