Thanks for the additional info, it should help replicate the problem.

This sounds like you may have set the MoorMapLoader plugin to load automatically or launched it manually.
Nope, neither of those.

Yes, was running previous version and updated using Plugin Compendium. Moormap is set to auto-load using built-in plugin manager. I'm using the English version.

The easiest way is to open the plugin, right click on the map, click "Add Annotation" and then click "Reload Defaults" at the bottom of the Annotation window. That should repair all of the map definitions as well as the default annotations and overlays.
Yes, that worked. Thanks. And thanks for all your work over the years on this plugin. It's very useful.

Thanks for the info. Definitely something odd going on. Despite the workaround fixing it, I need to dig further into why the update doesn't always work.

Update 1.33 contains a bug fix for the update bug reported by Altair7 and Tappo in 1.32

If 1.32 was working correctly for you, you can skip downloading 1.33

Thargelon in wrong place

Me again.

Thargelon is marked in the wrong place on the North Ithilien map. It should be at 56.5S 5.0W

Hi. Good catch, I accidentally duplicated the location of Thurindol as Thargelon which is really odd since one is an NPC and the other is a place :P

Let me know if you find any more The fix will probably be published after New Years.

Is there any plan (or a way already that I have somehow overlooked) to make it so you can scale how big the icons you put on the map are? This plugin is awesome but I feel the icon marker for the annotations is enormous. Personally, I would want it to be WAY smaller. Any chance you could add a scaling option?

Yes, you can easily do this using a custom icon. Icons can be .jpg or .tga files - if you use a .tga file, you can specify a transparency color too, so you could make a smaller icon thus making it have a smaller impact. To specify a custom icon, first create a .tga file using your favorite paint program - I happen to use paint.net for quick icon stuff. You may want to create a "selected" version that shows a highlighted border and a small version for the filter list. Typically the two larger icons are 32x32 or 30x30 and the smaller version is 16x16 or 15x15. Save the files in the
"The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins\GaranStuff\MoorMap\Resources" folder under your documents folder. Do not just edit the existing icons as your custom icons would get wiped out by any future updates to the plugin. Note, the icons are displayed centered on their coordinates, so center the non-transparent part of the icon. You can make your icon any size you like but you should try to stay at or below 32x32 (in your case you want it smaller so that's no problem)

To assign the custom icons, load the plugin, open the map and click the filter button, top left of map, third button from the left. In the filter list, right click on the icon you want to override and click "Change Icon". In the Icon Maintenance window, enter just the filename of the image(s) you created as the path is fixed. Click Save and you should immediately see your changes applied to the map and filter list. Note. in the Icon Maintenance window, most of the default icons use a resource ID number for one of the built-in icons so they show as numbers instead of a filename - if you ever need to go back to the built-in icons, just open the Icon Maintenance window and click "Restore Default" for the affected icon and then click Save to save the original defaults.

In a similar vein to SrceamInVain's query (pun intended), is it possible to use this method to reduce the size of the numerical icons in Berry's Deeds Data overlay?

The Berry's Deeds Data numbers are actually text in Verdana 20pt font. Since they aren't images, they can't be resized that way. I may look into allowing a different font size but that comes with it's own complications (Turbine never implemented a font-metrics class so we're stuck using Lua based work-arounds to determine things like control size when resizing fonts).

Unfortunately, this would be pretty low priority for me as I no longer play LotRO and allocate very little time to plugin maintenance and updates so even if it gets to the ToDo list it may never actually get implemented.

Would it be at all possible to shift the overlay a few pixels one way or the other in order to make it easier to click on the waypoints the numbers are covering?

That would either be more problematic (if I just moved all deed icons a set number of pixels, many would wind up covering things that were fine previously) or labor intensive if I checked every deed icon and moved it to a new location so that it didn't overlap any annotations. It is fairly simple to just toggle off the overlay for a few seconds to check an annotation that is obscured by deed markers and then toggle it back on.

I did add your suggestion to allow changing deed marker font size to the ToDo list, it's just a matter of whether it actually gets implemented.
