A request - why is the dropdown list to open options on right click even there? It has one element "Options" - so basically right clicking could just open the options window directly?

It is perfectly fine to publish your own update here on lotrointerface. That is what the patch feature is for. In this context, a patch is a modification of a plugin that is not an update by the original author, and it is shown on the page as such. The patch and the original plugin are linked and credit is given to the original author, too - see example of a TravelWindow patch here: http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info897.html

I suggest you upload your update as a patch, I almost missed your version because I skipped the comments.

Update

I am planning to update this plugin to work with Pelargir. The main thing I will be adding is a timer for the epic foe quest and the secondary epic foe so that you know how long you took to kill them or how much time you have left to get plat. Since the side quests in Pelargir are all random, there's not really a need for a side-quest order like there is in other instances. This update won't be for a while, as I am very busy with different projects (not-LOTRO related unfortunately), and there are plans to fix a few things in Pelargir and I don't want to bother working on something that's just going to change in a month anyway.

I may add some other features, but that depends both on my free time and any needs that could be addressed.

Thanks, I have only english client and I do not talk/write in german or french. So It is no way to test it or adjust to the other clients. Basicly I step forward with that plugin (6 man pela, etc) but it is not perfect - so I do not published but I am using.

The 6 man Pela come with some nice surprise like 4+1 (wrench) sidequest or the NPC's still not talking as mutch as in HD (hard to detect when the sidequest launched and finished). Some quest start before the other finished (in HD too) etc, etc.
So I really need to rewrite the whole EBP mechanism (dinamic sidequest number and start/stop for example) but it is hard to test because you need to run instances a lot to test it. And there is no hard inspiration because the Pelargír do not need hard tactic only brutal DPS in 6man for bosses. And the lag every day also do not help to inspire me.
Ah, and do not forget the global LUA bugs and crash problems, so hard to developing meanwhile you do not sure you are the dump or just LUA bug

Your version I think is very good, but it does not works properly on the German client. Although I try to adapt the plugin to use, but unfortunately I fail it Basically it goes, but I do not get it to run for Pelargir Since the Actual plugin author did not meldetm I am assuming that there are no other version of him will be

Retaking Pelargir

Retaking Pelargir included the plugin. I do not got a quest (The Thrice Blown Horn) from 20 run so that is maybe locked, and the 3. wave is complett bugged ... and this is only the game part.
The game have some speial detail for this plugin too (different side quest detect, prebattle before side quests, quest name with special character etc) so I need to test a bit because I make a lot of unwanted change.

But that instance is insanely easy so I am pretty sure nobody really need any tactic detail

I moving forward a lot in the code.

1. I correct many typing mistake like Civilian Defence.
2. The plugin write what side we doing.
3. Can detect if the random quest start and change the name on the buttom from random quest.
4. If you hover over the quest button, the plugin show the tactic in window.
5. Can sent to group/kinship/raid/say chat the quest(s) name and the tactic with colorized.
6. In raid after we know the second wave side it is filling the second AND the third quest too, because we know.

Hmm, I think I write everything. I do not want to put in your modified code like a new plugin here but I happy to share with you, but I am not crazy about it. So if you do not keep contact with me I take it for myself and friends. Cheers and thank you the original plugin, I never programming in LUA so I just learn a bit this language while I did the modification. It was a good challange

One more idea. It would be nice to read some tactic for the quests, maybe when you move the cursor over the quest title it pop up in window.

So option 1: you can make a short description for all quest (I know this is hard).
2. Make a possibility to the users make note for all quests.

Anyway, there is some mistake in the code for example: Civilian Defence and not Civilian Defense.

Post Add Side information too

Hey, It would be nice if the plugin show witch side is the active. Just for example in Deeping coomb good to know what side of canal need barricade, or in Raid if someone miss the information what is the next side, easy to see on plugin than ask other players or scrolling on the chat.

This is quite strange as I have never had a problem with saving when the plugin unloads, and a few of my other plugins use similar saving methods, and I have never experienced it not saving. I've also never seen anywhere that states saving when unloading is unreliable. I tried testing some different scenarios (log out, direct quit without logging out, etc) and couldn't replicate the problem you are having. However, I went ahead and in the newest version it now saves whenever you move or minimize it, so hopefully that will take care of the problem. If not, then there must be something else that is wrong with your save data or plugin, and I'll probably have to send you a debugger version to see what's up.
