Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: WardenEase2
Yeah I'm hoping I got all the dependencies removed, but it's possibly one slipped through, though your error doesn't point towards a dependency issue, it really sounds like a installation problem. Have you checked the folders I mentioned in the other post?
All files were present so I removed the entire plugin and got it again using the plugin compendium. So far it seems to be working ok but I have not had much time to check it. At least it loaded for me so all appears well! Thank you very much for your assistance!

No I do not but I thought I saw where it was no longer necessary to have it. I will try that and see, thank you.

I do not have this file located anywhere. I have never been able to get the plugin to load at all though it shows in the list of plugins I have when I look in Plugin Manager. When I try to manually load it by highlighting it and clicking on 'load', I get this message: Unable to resolve package "SDRPlugins.WardenEase2.Main".
I understand about your time issues. Look how long it took me to try your suggestion and get back to you!
Thank you.

Did you have the Turbine Utilities installed, maybe this can be the problem, if not done you may find it here: http://content.turbine.com/sites/lot..._LuaPlugins.7z
If it doesn´t work try to install wardenease (by deusdictum) also, but don´t activate this in the plugin-manager.

Seems you may be missing some files. I would recommend trying to download and reinstall WardenEase2. The easiest way to do that is through the LOTRO Plugin Compendium, which automatically puts everything where it needs to go. If you do it manually, afterward check your "C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins\SDRPlugins\WardenEase2" folder, and make sure it contains the Main.lua file, along with a few other ones (VindarPatch.lua, WEController.lua, WEQuickslotWindow.lua, _init_.lua). If it's missing any of those, then there's something wrong with your installation of the plugin.

Re: Re: WardenEase2
You could try deleting the settings to reset the plugin to see if that helps. Those are saved in something like C:\Users\<Your UserName>\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\<Your LOTRO Account UserName>\<Server You Play On>\<Character you Play> - and the file is "WardenEase.plugindata" simply delete it and try running the plugin again.

Wardenease2 German patch
You can now download a patch to get this addon to work on german clients, as workaround for the problems.
You may download it here: WardenEase2 2.5 German Patch
-----german-----
Ihr könnt einen Patch von mir für deutsche Clients herunterladen (siehe Link oben), der das Problem zumindest erstmal behebt und wardenease2 für uns wieder lauffähig macht.
Viel Spass

If the other solution doesn't work, let me know what (if any) errors you get when you try to load the plugin. That will help me narrow down the problem and find a solution. The error messages will appear in whatever chat tab you have that displays the General chat.

Re: Re: WardenEase2
There's currently some problems with the plugin due to Turbine breaking part of the API is uses. It should work on USA versions of the game (and most likely UK/other English versions), but not for other languages.

I have downloaded and installed the plugin and it shows in my plugin list when I use the plugins manager command. I cannot get it to work under any circumstance, however. It is set to automatically load when I play my warden but it does not and I cannot manually choose the 'load plugin' option. Other plugins function properly. I am running Windows 8 if that makes any difference. Please help, thank you.

If you are on a non-English client, I hope to have the fix up sometime in May. I apologize for the delay for those that were looking for a fix towards the beginning of the year, I have been swamped with work and barely have time to even play the game, much less work on this plugin and some others I have been creating. Hopefully soon!

Thank you for the information update. Is there anything still to be done (except programming the LUA) which i could help with?
Thanks for the offer, but at this point it really is just the programming. Too many other projects going on unfortunately.

This version (2.5) isn´t compatible with german (and french) clients yet, but stever is working on a version that supports at least the german clients, but this can take a little time, as he wrote to me.
German:
Diese Version (2.5) ist nicht kompatibel mit deutschen (und französischen) Clients, Stever arbeitet aber an einer Version, die zumindest deutsche Clients unterstützt, nur kann das etwas dauern, wie Stever mir schrieb.

Hi,
is this new version of Warden Ease 2 already patched to work with german clients? I am a little confused with the "upload date" and the files date, therefore my question.
