Vitals
Is there a way to make my Vitals from the mini/universal Daimon UI4 versions (including SoM) look like the normal Vitals for the original sized one?
Or, if it's easier, I love everything from the normal UI other than the big toolbar and the buttons, how could I replace it with the mini toolbar?

Alright I think I figured it out, Either it is entering the SkinDefinition in the Setup Area or it is actually deleting the minimap from the addons folder and that will revert it back to the original map.

whitecloud. my purple version of this is currently broken and I don't have all the time available to remove the character ui, though I'm hoping to get it to this weekend. I was able to change the minimap for mine as I didn't like the one included... so it's not too hard. just like he said look in the files and pull it out.

If its just the ring around the map you dislike, and if you have other UI saved and installed, you can also find the minimap TGAs and replace them with a picture with a thinner ring. Or use the Lotro Skin Editor which allows you to visually move elements of the UI and redirect the Skin xml in there to find a different picture

Whitecloud: Yes there is, but it's not that simple to explain. Sorry I'm a bit overworked atm. Try finding all the <!-- MINIMAP sections from the Skindefinition.xml from Uni root and remove them from the file (make a backup first from the original file). Then load the game and see what happens (remember, relogging isn't enough). I can try to explain this in greater detail later on.
liftedplane: Yeah thank the maker. Lets hope the best and fear the worst Thanks everyone who gave their support!

One Mini Map to Rule them all!
Hey Daimon I really like your skin so far but something irritating me is the Size of the mini map, I really prefer the smaller size of the original mini map and was wondering if there was a way to fix this with your mini map or go back to the original mini map while keeping the rest of the skin I am currently using universal.

hobo11: Thanks for the support and your kind words. To answer your question:

Aragorn: "There is always hope."
But not without the help of the community it seems. It makes me so happy that so many have shown their support at http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?381775
ps. actually it's really easy to make skin updates now as there's nothing much to update until they release the new art pack - if they do :c
You've got my support Daimon. Hopefully one of these days Turbine will get their head out of their patoots and release these art assets. I just don't see why they won't. :|

Thanks
Hello.
I'm recently returned to the game, I used your ui the last time I played and really liked it, the windows are streamlined and remove a lot of clutter, also many tweaks, such as the enlarged dressing room (why is the default inventory screen huge and the dressing room so tiny with no options to resize it) things like that just make it belter.
But:
Coming back to the game I’ve noticed some of the posts here about turbin not releasing the art packs, its giving me the impression that this may become a thing of the past which will be very unfortunate, I really hope it doesn’t come to that, I really do hate some of the default windows.
Something I read had a comment that maybe turbin is afraid that moders will remove all the store buttons from the window, not that I blame them, I like to have access to the store, but they could have made them much less intrusive.
How is it looking so far, is there hope that moders will continue to be given a place within LotR? I would hate to see this come to an end, and all the awesome stuff you guys bring to the community.
Also just wanted to say, I was a bit worried about loading this up, was afraid you all don’t have the necessary resources to keep the skins up, was delighted to find the skin as I remember it, and all the window to the most part working correctly, again thx for this ui, especially since its even harder to keep it up now, hopefully turbine will come around and give you those packs with there next up date or release.

rulez: fellowship panel can't be modified or skinned in any way. (yes there's one art asset for it but it really doesn't make any difference)

Fellowshop window
Is it intentional that the fellowship window (Fellowship Mini Panel) is not affected by the skin? I expected that it would look similar to the character ones (Vitals) when using DiamonUIUniversal. But the fellowship window seems to be the default Turbine skin.

BJMGaming: Hi and sorry for the late reply. Eliminating the border ? It is doable but involves some picture-editing. You need to load the mainbar in a picture editor that can handle Targa files and supports alpha layers. Via alpha layer you can make parts of the image file transparent thus removing the border area.

Toolbar in version 4.03
Hello and thank you, Daimon.
I play at 1920x1080 resolution, so have installed v.4.0.3 Universal.
Is there a way for me to reduce the Toolbar to eliminate the border and make it more compact?
Do I need to switch to your mini version and customize it for 1920 and tweak the toolbar there?
